Green jab I'm a bit confused here,I remember reading that article ages ago in May in fact. You stated on facebook yesterday that there was an article on the way soon regarding anthony fitzgerald which never arrived and then you deleted that statement afterwards.I could be way off the mark here but it seems that the article which you are now contesting was most likely the article you were going to upload, until either yourself, dolphil or fitzy himself realised it would be ill advised to post such an article.

Now I just want to state that I enjoy reading your facebook page and greenjab.ie and I like your behind the scenes videos from the gym and from the latest hyland press conference which are interesting. This is not any anti-dublin bias or anything like that. It just seems a bit strange as you posted that article in May before fitzy even went to the ukraine. I remember there was a video with it aswel.

I have an article I have yet to finish on Fitzers decision to hold onto his Super Middleweight title and I will post it as soon as I get the chance to Finish it.

I removed the post because straight away someone started the well worn track of "Fitzer is a bollox" under my comment and I want to limit my page as much as possible to articles and news and less of the name calling.

Im not quite sure what you think is a little strange about me posting the article before he went to the Ukraine. :huh

Great fight alright Tommy. There always seems to be one gobshite judge that gets it miles wrong. I think one lad gave nearly every round to Ninja when it was a 1 or 2 point fight at best. You're mans a mighty little umpalumpa all the same. 5"4 sounds about right.

As for the rest of it on here it's great craic altogether. There is some stuff on here that is comedy gold I tells ya. Conspiracy theories to go with it all now too.

Who is taking the bets on this by the way? I have some inside info on whodunnit!

Your right about removing the post because of the name calling and all that, but fitzy does himself absolutely no favours at all regarding his image and what people think of him, he had a full blown argument on fb with a female neighbour of his,someone at dolphil should definatley have a little word in his ear.

All I thought was strange was the fact that the article which nutter posted, talked about the aftermath of his trip to the ukraine, whereas the article you put up was from May before he had gone to the ukraine.

Anyway, I understand the mix up now, keep up the good work.:good

 

The mix up was fairly clear. The article (now removed) quoted a downhearted Fitzgerald who admitted he was 'dropped at will' and who accepts that he is not ready for Andy Lee, and was mistaken to think so. And the Barker comments, 'I could/might/hope to get a lucky punch'. Hardly inspiring stuff - I prefer the gung-ho mix myself.

Were the quotes genuine? Who got them, was this GreenJab in Fitzgerald 'inner-city Dublin home', as was stated? Then GJ put up a different article from May, before Fitz even went. There's the mix-up alright, I'm still confused.

Not like any professional spar iv ever seen more like the sort of thing youd see around the fairs (if you know what i mean)
Hannan was lucky that want his debut as i would have scored it against him.
Still good luck to the lad..i think he'll need it.

 

I have spoke to Fitzgerald regarding his trip to Ukraine and the other points posted on boxingnews24 and he made none of them.

 

Seems a tough enough lad and he took a couple of big shots there and it didnt seem to upset him too much so he has that in his favour.
Looking at his skill sets his fight with mickey doherty will be an even match up,Saw Doherty against Cruise before xmas and there doesnt seem to be a lot betwen him and Hannan so maybe some good matchmaking there.But without disrespecting anyone if he cant beat Doherty he probably wont achieve anything in the game.
I agree letting a guy spar without a headgaurd or protector is just not on and very unprofessional.(especially if your taping it )
