    nah, would be pretty stupid of Haye to try and soak up punishment until Wlad falls down.

    Would be a terrible approach to the fight by Haye and would ptretty much ensure he gets stopped inside of 6 rounds. This way of fighting Wladimir does not work anymore. It's an outdated theory created by the Sanders/Brewster defeats. Look what happens to people who rush Wladimir now? They walk straight into the latters bombs and are damaged goods pretty quickly. Sam Peter got it all wrong last time out. Looking for a quick finish. Now you might argue that Peter had only one way to win since he lacked stamina and relied on power. Well that isn't true of Haye. If he wants to win this fight he has to be FAST and ELUSIVE. He has to make himself a very hard target and hope to hurt Wladimir when he counters.

    Given the size and reach of Wlad, combined with Wlad's skill and power, I venture to say that a rushing attack, fairly early, is Haye's ONLY chance of winning. :smoke

    We all know that Haye will attempt a swarming attack, that is almost a certainty.

    But Wlad will have to stay mobile and keep his back off the ropes when Haye does start the lunging swarms. If Wlad is against the ropes, and can't back outta the way of Haye's progression, it could be another loss for Wlad. He is going to need to stay pretty light on his feet and keep away from the ropes and out of the corners, as he was against Peter in the first fight.

    Wlad is not the lean back defense master that Vitali is.

    It would be smarter for Haye to do that in like the 3rd round. Takes the first two off, then try the rush out of no where. Wlad is conditioned for the opening rush, and he just goes into grappler mode.
    So what Haye could do is spend a few round running, getting Wlad into a stalker mentality, then turn the tables and push back.

    Wouldn't be surprised at all if he did this actually.

    haye will prove to you that wlad is a mental case. wlad doesn't like beeing hit back, especialy by a guy that can knock you with one punch so he'll be very nervous and gunshy first rounds maybe even paniced. haye ko's russ in 3-4 rounds and you klitschko's nuthuggers will be screaming "he was poisoned" once again.
    Haye has the speed, the power and the mentality to beat wlad so i think it is his fight.

    let the best man win.

    bottom line.

    Wlad is the best fighter ever that doesn't actually have the mentality of a fighter. Say what you will about Haye but the ****er has balls of steel.

    I think Haye will try to use the sort of raiding tactics that he used against Valuev and I don't think it will work either.

    It will plan out like a game of chess, hardly any punches thrown. It will be a case of whoever lands the first right hand.

    Nope - Hayes overly cautious @ heavyweight and though he is a loathsome individual he is no fool - he could afford to rush Enzo Macc at cruiserweight but he knows damn well that Wlad has the power and ability to take his head off with one shot .

    anyone hoping for a barnstorming quick fight will be very disapointed as they will be both too aware of thier own frail chins and each others power .

    It wont stink the joint out like haye V Harrison did but it will have a distinct aromatic flavour about the entire proceedings.

    Just my 2 cents and that aint worth doodly
