Why in the world would ESPN ask Teddy Atlas of all people where Tyson ranks among the all time great heavyweights? He goes on to say Tyson used intimidation and didn't fight any great, prime fighters. His lack of personal character and outside the rings problems is what brought him down.

    Shame on ESPN.

Just in case you didn't know, here is a bit of Teddy's all time list:

    1. Louis
    2. Ali
    3. Johnson
    4. Marciano
    5. Tunney

    19. Tyson

Well ESPN is full of ****...its sad but basically they're pissed at Tyson because he's not giving them anything to work with anymore

They could have used their own boxing guy Dan Rafael instead. He's a good amount better at this than Atlas.

The evil 4 letter used Jeremy Schaap's fair comments for Friday Night Fights regarding the Tyson myth, facts and falsities. A better overall assessment.

You mean the one that said Tyson lost all of his biggest fights such as "Danny Williams and Kevin McBride" while glossing over the fact that Tyson-Spinks was the highest grossing fight EVER?

Like I said full of ****.

Dan Rafael sucks. Hate reading anything he writes and his scorecards are atrocious more often than not. I'll honestly take Teddy's unintentionally hilarious rambling over Dan anyday.

Teddy is correct in his analysis. I would place Tyson somewhere between 15 and 20 as well.

I have tyson at number 12.

I honestly have no idea how tyson can objectively be ranked behind tunney.
