As an professional athlete your accomplishments and abilities is measured with what you do inside and outside (training, preparation, etc) of the ring. If Hamed short changed himself by not training well then that is his fault. It is part of his athletic make up. Mental fortitude is needed as much as physical fortitude. If we are going that route is Camacho a theoretical ATG now if he did not snort coke 24/7?
Whatever. My post was "The Hamed v Kevin Kelley was the last real Nas. Then he fell out with his trainer Brendan Ingle and then it all went downhill from there" And I stand by that. End of.
oh kevin kelly was not in his prime when he fought hamed. manny stops him if you ask me and i dont think he would get knocked down either, he might get backed up or stunned a little bit but thats about it.exciting fight for as long as it last, winner is pacman by mid rd ko.
Points win yes, but Hamed ain't getting KO'd. He might get dropped but he doesn't get stopped. If there was a KO it would be to Hamed.
When Hamed faced top opposition in Barrera and lost, he folded and ran away from boxing ashamed and with his tail between his legs. When Pacquiao lost to Morales the first time, he came back better and avenged his defeat two times over. That right there tells me Pacquiao is mentally stronger than Hamed. Hamed would have wilted against the will of Pacquio, let alone kiss the canvass many times over while lunging against Pacquio's powerful counters.
Almost criminal under-rating of Hamed. He did have a ton of cans on his resume, but did beat some top guys and was G as hell doin it, huge huge event winner in Hamed. Hamed maybe one of the best event winners of all time with the ring flip, the entrances, the flashyness. The only guy I can think of thats gonna top that **** is.... you guessed it, the walking event himself, The Problem, The G, Adriene Broner. Broner a G.
nah, by the time naz fought MAB, he was nothing but a narcissist. he wasn't the same fighter by a long stretch. if you don't believe that naz wasn't training properly, go and watch the little prince, the big fight. it's a documentary. they were filming the lead up to the fight. all naz did was **** around, talk to the camera, and look really bad in sparring. it was the biggest fight of his career but wasn't hungry anymore. i think his love of boxing had long gone. it was a great victory for MAB, i won't take that from him... but it was very clear to see.. naz wasn't the fighter he used to be.
yeah, it's called the little prince, the big fight. it was his worst camp. can't blame MAB for that one, though. he did the job he should have.
