yes. when naz was with brenden ingle. he would of sparked MAB back then. he would also beat a feather version of pac. both by KO.
Why would anybody think that Hamed and Pac would actually be interesting enough to put up a thread about it? Hamed is so ****ing wide open Pac would split his face in half, Hamed was a good boxer, big banger, but when it came down to that squared circle and actually using a set of skills he was like deer stuck in the headlights..
Kell brook is similar to hamed, and brook may fight pacman sooner than u think,,this guy is very talented also friends with naz!!
naz was a counter puncher. he wouldn't try to back pac up. he would let pac come straight at him and time him. i say a hamed KO by the 7th.
Sure alot were due to his balance, but I think Kelly did hurt him... Augie Sanchez got a bit of him to.. your right they are mostly balance shots, but he has been buzzed as well.
Barrera.... who seemed to be the only one who was relaxed enough in there to settle down and box rather than to slug it out, where all have failed Barrera passed the test. The thing with Naz, most felt they could knock him out cus he was so wide, and had been knocked down quite a bit, thats where all have failed, thinking they would knock this kid out.... Barrera didnt go after the knock out he went after the rounds... and beat Naz easily. Had Kelly done that, Kelly would have had a win over Naz.
yeah, kelley did hurt him with a straight left. think it was the 2nd or the 3rd. all the knockdowns were due to poor balance, though. naz's knockdowns weren't. he nailed kelley good and proper. especially the KO in the 4th.
he beat naz easily.. i agree. but both fighters looked nervous. in fact, i had never seen barrera look so pensive.
I love how the Brits still think Nas is an ATG. He got destroyed in his first real fight and was washed up shortly after. He is a never was. An overrated European who got destroyed the first time he stepped up to world class competition.
Barrera had just re invented himself, he was boxing more than we have ever seen him, he had a fight just prior to that with Saul... ahh **** I forgot his name, But I clearly recall stewart saying that he needed to get Naz in the gym early becuase this was an entirely different MAB than he expected.... What ****ed Naz in that fight was his attitude, he did not listen to Stewart at all you could see that arrogant little ******* roll his eyes when stewart was trying to give him advice... I dont think both guys looked nervous, I think Naz was uncomfortable as he was not the fan favorite in the building that night, lets not forget he got a nice welcome from someones drink as he headed towards the ring...
he was a good fighter who had the potential to be great. he just lost his focus after a few years at the top. has a very underrated resume as well. he beat some very good fighters.
Hamed is a glass jawed brit like the rest of them brits. Pacquiao destroys Hamed and sends him to the dentist!
