Listen, Anderson went upto LHW cos he cant make weight, he's shouting for this for a payday as he is out of the ranking at lhw and a good boxer so is likely to avoided for abit to be fair so calling out Groves and dropping weight seems desperate some what. He knows he wobbled Groves and he knows Groves stock is at a pinnacle following his wind over Degale so no wonder he's calling him out.

Even tho there is rationality from his demands, he still got beat and that came by ko. Groves is now in a position where he is kingpin domestically and is ready to fight for bigger honours and titles. I fully understand Hayemakers decision to avoid this fight. As i have said before, Andseron should fight Degale and the winner would then imo deserve another crack at Groves...

I really don't see a case for a rematch here. The reason Groves got himself into a brawl in that fight and got into trouble was that, for whatever reason, he didn't stick to his game plan and he didn't listen to Adam Booth. He's just shown against DeGale that when his mind is on the job he can stick to a plan for 12 rounds. Having come through against Anderson, Groves now knows full well that he can be dangerous and I don't think he'd ever let him into the fight. He'd outbox him and stop him again without getting hurt this time. A rematch at this stage offers no intrigue at all and I can't see reason why Groves should be expected to immediately rematch somebody who he's just stopped. If anything, DeGale has a much stronger case.

Anderson should get a couple of decent wins under his belt to show that he offers more now than he did the first time around. Then, assuming Groves hasn't moved on to the next level, look for another shot and work his way into a mandatory position which he's more than capable of doing.

That's a fair point, I think Anderson v DeGale makes a lot of sense for both men.

    He should rematch DeGale first.

I'm not saying Anderson deserves an immediate rematch.

My issue with people saying they cant get their head around the argument that he might deserve one.

I am just putting forward the case from an alternative perspective.

    Balance guys, balance!

Its probably up to Anderson to catch up to Groves with a couple of decent wins rather expecting Groves to look back and give an immediate rematch though, eh Slap?

i think most people argument is that he needs to put some wins together before he gets the rematch.

if they fought now Anderson would have another excuse.

pretty sure the board would make it an eliminator.

Fair do's, Im just merely batting away Groves ducking allegations as the kid imo is deserving of all his plaudits as he has fought top opposition consistently and hasnt ducked a challenge yet.

For the final time, I hope, pray and preach that Degale v Anderson should be made, makes sense for both parties and would be a delight to watch. God knows why more dont push for it...
