jesus salud. yeah, marco had a very good performance against him. it did make manny kind of nervous.

they did get a different barrera.. they all thought he'd come with all guns blazing, and naz would be able to counter punch. what they got was a fighter who had the ability to adapt and box. boy, did he box. great tactics from their side.

manny wasn't really giving out great advice.. all he was saying was " as soon as you hit him, he's gone" or "you've got to knock him out" bad night for manny that was.

 yeah, "drink gate". that's why he said he couldn't do his flip over the ropes.. his gloves were all wet.

but i disagree about how nervous they both were. i'd never seen marco so pensive before. never. and naz was so nervous, his eyes were steamed over. go and watch the fight and look out for it. that's if you can get it with good quality.

pacquiao is too good for Hamed. It would be an interesting style matchup though.

Actually Manny was giving him alot more advice than just telling him to knock him out, Manny brought up the balance issue, stating that Naz was lossing rounds based on his balance, he would tell him When Marco would land, it would look alot worse cus of Naz's balance, and such.. Naz just did not listen for one second, honesty I think Naz mentally quit in that fight, it just seemed to me that he wasnt comfortable with the idea that he was the man at featherweight, and didnt get treated that way when fighting Barrera...

    Very rough night for him...

Naz got caught loads v Kelly. He really struggled with Kelly's jab and his balance in that fight was also all over the place. Pacman at 130lbs beats Hamed.

the welter version of pac is.. but not the feather version. he'd play into hamed's hands too much. as soon as he hits pac with one of those bombs, it's pretty much the beginning of the end.

yeah, manny did mention the balance thing, saying " it looks much worse than it is when you do that. stop lunging in"

but everything else was, "you've got to knock him out". the commentators on our side picked it up as well. they thought that manny had lost his mind.

I think we need to look at the round in which he started to say that, cus if it was any round past the 6th he may have been correct at that point.

If it's the Pac now at 147, thats is a terrible rematch.

At 126, prime for prime, I got with Pac by late TKO in a fight where both fighters hit the canvas.

at the end of the second, manny tells naz to back barrera up.. that was stupid advice. naz was a counter puncher. every time he pushes berrera back, he gets caught with counters. naz just can't fight on the front foot.

at the end of the sixth, manny's telling him to let the big punches go because he punches too hard. to tell naz all this so early in the fight is complete stupidity. he needed to tell naz to go on the back foot to try and coax marco in. turn it into a chess game if need be, and see if barrera falls for it.

everything else was how bad his balance was. poor instructions from manny if you ask me. you don't ask your man to deliver the big shots and to knock him out so early in the fight. too stupid. he was clueless.

I am sorry but Stewart has a proven track record in this sport, I will not disagree with any advice he gave to Naz, based on the fact that he and Naz had to have come up with a game plan.

When trainer gives you advice in between rounds, you take it if you want to win and if you dont take it dont blame your loss on your corner... thats yur fault that you did not follow the game plan.
