Rocky starts with nothing, is surrounded by doubters, yet goes on to beat some of the baddest men on the planet. That sums up the journey of every boxer. I am no different...Even though everybody doubted him going into the fight with Ivan Drago, Rocky went overseas and shocked the world by beating this stiff, robotic Eastern European. Who does that remind you of? This guy if pretty funny. Unfortunately, he's a boxer, not a comedian. Hopefully he comes to fight on July 2nd, and we get a real HW fight for a change.
I think we'll know in the first 3 rounds if Haye has a real chance of beating Klit. If he sees that he can land his counter right or an occasional left hook upstairs, ala Jean Pascal concerning the hook, then he'll know he's got Klit figured out.
If he fights like rocky he wont make it out of the first round, better move and look for ways to get past that jab and land bombs.
Does Haye realize this parallel would work much better talking about his fight with the Russian Destroyer SNV? And Haye gave a decidedly non-Balboa performance in that one. :deal

Yet Ukraine/Kazakhstan/Germany or wherever the **** the Klits were spawned does? Seriously, this is the ultimate battle of the glass chins, either guy could win and it won't be a Rocky-esque performance that does the trick either. Neither of them is ATG material but it is an interesting match-up due to the power they both have and the chins that neither of them have.
Wlad does not come out blasting like a one dimensional fighter. He will box, setup Haye and then KO him. Fighting like a one dimensional club fighter might be exciting for the fans to watch but Wlad is a Boxer, not a toughman contestant.
