because... his...gameplan... was...to..attack.. in the second half of the fight! ****!! Am I saying its a cert he would have won after six? NO. but dont say "he didnt throw much"" when he clearly stated that his gameplan was defence in the first six, and offence in the last... we never got to see the last

EDIT: he even told Karceno this was his plan, im not ****ing saying this in hindsight, jesus. first half, make him miss, second half, make him pay.. now did he make khan miss in the first half?..... oh..yeah

alright man ive had enough of this now, tbh I dont think Paul will get past Maidana if it happens, but if he does we can argue about this again later.

    OK mate.

I hope we get to see McCloskey fight another 'name' opponent too. Just hope he adopts a strategy whereby he actually throws punches next time.

his gameplan depends on the opponent, its not like mccloskey is notorious for having a low work rate, so by that point alone you know he was going by a gameplan against khan .

he wants them ALL, still serious talks going on about mccloskey maidana. paul mccloskey doesnt lack ambition, confidence, or desire.

this man is obviously mentally challenged. He is supporter of a scrub who couldn't land a single punch on Khan. He says the game plan was literally to lose half of the fight and then come back in the second half of the fight? Ask anyone who has ever played any sport ever, take a soccer team "Yea we wanted to be down 3-0 at halftime because we knew they would be tired in the second half." Uhhh no, you don't hear any sport team say anything remotely as stupid as that statement. If anything Mccloskey may be dumber than he any person alive if that is his true belief.

    Maidana is fighting Guererro.

    McCloskey likely to fight Prescott.

McCloskey to fight for the WBA interim "world" title at home in September.

So let me get this right:
    1) Khan beats Judah & becomes Super Champion
    2) Maidana & Guererro fight for vacant title. (What vacant title?)
    3) McClosekey fights as a heavy fav against someone like Lynes or Witter to become interim champ (I thought that just came into effect if the champion wasnt defending!)

It's basically the same set up as Brian Magee & this interim bull. Neither of the guys should try to call themselves world champion from winning that fight though.

I'm sure he'll get the world level fights he wants, especilly after his impersonation of a slick tomato can + his display of glass heartedness.

McCloskey vs Maidana would be a great fight which would be a close one.
I think McCloskey would win this tho as he's a good counter puncher, he'd find it easier than he did against Khan as he's no where near as fast, it'd prob go the distance and McCloskey win on points, but if he could hit him flush with a nice counter while he's coming forward, that would make a real statement.
