I only want to see Pac-JMM at 144 to see how Pac would massacre JMM at this weight.

Other than that, I don't see any reason why they should fight. They belong to different weight classes. Pac definitely outgrown 130 where he looks like a skeleton every weigh-in while JMM barely able to be the best at 135.

At 144, Pac was hit by bigger punchers than JMM so I don't see any reason why he should be wary of JMM's punches. JMM landed fluch on Gayweather and Gayweather just laugh it off. I am sure that Pac would do the same.

It is a mismatch not because Pac is better because skillwise, JMM is probably better but not by a mile but physicality goes with Pac like speed, reflexes, power. And age is creeping up on JMM.

Even at 140 Pac would be at advantage. If JMM was not able to get Pac at his best weight of 130, I don't really see a single chance that he would get him at a weight that Pac is better. Except of course if you are Divac.

I would have more respect, if more Pacfans were this honest.

HAHAHAHAHA!...you answered my questions with questions...classic.

Cotto wasn't a big draw....even though that would have been the best fight out there, in fact im guessing they probaly do around what Pac did with him.

I would have liked to see the fight, didnt happen if that's they're reasoning then it does have merrit because he wasn't a big draw, but i still feel he should have fought Cotto none the less.

Ortiz numbers probaly aren't worth mentioning, however i bet with Floyd he does around 1.2 with Floyd why you think? Pac and Floyd will draw with anyone with a remote buzz, so Pac/Cotto is a testament to Pac...not Cotto...posting those numbers meant nothing...which was what my questions were directed at....but like most Pac fans you danced around that. I actualy was giving Pac some credit but your more focused on making sure Floyd doesn't get credit for facing a very solid fighter who is in his physical prime, whom some of you didnt think he would have the "balls" to get in the ring with him comming off a layoff....soons he does though....well you know how it goes...the guy never had a chance now....typical. I guess that's your way of giving props...raise the bar for some while keep it low for others you like.

Maybe thats not you though....maybe thats just your peers.

P.S...here is how you answer questions.

cotto-margarito was signed only around the time this article/blog appeared, around May of 2008 after the gomez tune-up.

floyd could have went on to fight him anywhere in between those time frame after cotto had just beaten mosley but ellerbe said that cotto was not a draw and would rather floyd rematch delahoya.

when the man's own trainer makes a quote like that, you KNOW Floyd is avoiding Manny.

You are 100% correct, then agan you are also very wrong... look how fans felt when Mosley admitted, look at reaction after Vargas was proven to be a steroid user, look at Toney, Jones Jr... fans dont like cheaters.

of course all of the boxing fans wants to see that fight. i was big on cotto then and i was about to become a full-time floyd fan if ever he has to fight cotto and win. but ellerbe just excused floyd for not taking this fight which i think is BS. floyd has no problem taking jmm and ortiz who has not pulled more than 525k PPV before.

to answer your question, cotto had just 400k PPV + around 40k PPV in puerto rico, not sure though just done a random google. so basically cotto has bigger PPV numbers than both floyd and pac before delahoya. (note) pac-jmm numbers i'm not sure coz it ranges from 400k-525k in different reports.

Here is all we need to know

    Prior to fighting Pacquiao
    Their last 2 fights

    Mosley 0-1-1 Zero Knock outs

    Clottey 1-1 zero knock outs

    Margarito 1-1 Zero knock outs

Thats a combined record of 2 wins 3 losses 1 draw
    Prior to Mayweather Jr
    Last 2 fights

Mosley 2-0 with 2 knock outs

Marquez 2-0 with 2 knock outs

Hatton 2-0 with 1 knock outs

A combined record of 6 wins No losses with five knock outs....

Now you tell me who is cherry picking their opponents....:think
