I bet a guy £25 Ali would beat Foreman.
I had £20 on Barrera to beat Hamed.
Both were very sweet wins for me Ali's ,because he was my man ,and Barrera's because I hate that little **** Hamed.

Lloyd Honeyghan beating Don Curry. I had a very strong feeling about this,pre-fight.
Also,I told everyone who listened that Duran had a good shot against Davey Moore. In his previous fight, against Pipino Cuevas,he looked the best he'd been since Montreal '80.

Gambling wise, Hearns -Barkley 1 was big for me. Rematch not so profitable, but good. Tyson-Holyfield 2 was good also. DLH--Mosely 1. Holmes--Shavers 1. Vitali--Hide.

    Tszyu--Ruelas. Moorer-Holyfield 1. Jackson--McClellan 1 & 2. Norton-Bobick. Not so much because 1 guy was a huge under, but I thought the line was way off.

Anytime you can pick the big underdog to come through, you gotta love those 3-1 and 7-1 dogs. The other side of the coin is how bad it is when those big favorites lose.

Foreman/Moorer was the first fight I ever bet on and the first time I lost a bet on boxing.

There was better than a dozen of us watching that fight, we all thought Moorer was going to win except for one guy who bet everyone in the room $20. Guy made out pretty well.

Calzaghe-Lacy. I even said it was a total mismatch.

I called Holyfield-Tyson too because Holyfield had never had problems opening up on any opponent and Tyson hadn't moved his head since the Holmes fight.

The two best picks I've made in the last couple of years are Margarito/Cotto (Margo KO 10-12) and Hopkins to dominate Pavlik.

Margarito to knock out Shane and DeGale to stop George Groves are two of my shockers.

It was 74 actually ,but for some it was a substantial amount.

Recently Salido over Lopez, everyone keeps underestimating him..But no one wanted to listed.. Check rummys only one... I would have taken that bet on even money.

Also picked Vince Phillips over then Super Hyped and new champ Kostya Tszyu.. Figured style wise he had what it took.. Enough speed, power and the chin to make it thru the storm.. Vince Philips was an underachiever but i knew he had what it took, although he won a title i think he could have done better, could have been elite for awhile, instead of a hot and cold fighter he ended up just being a gate keeper for most of his career.

Frankie Randall is another one although i didnt pick him over Chavez i did tell people that.. Hes a live underdog and not a tune up like everyone though.. I knew he was very good and that Chavez was partying alot and on the slide.

Attended Barrera -Morales I and everyone thought Barrera was on the downside, because of his fights with Junior Jones.. put some money in vegas.. He was a 2-1 underdog(when i put my bet down) and i felt he should have got the decion.

Picked Bramble over Mancini ..Bramble was an underdog the 1st time, this was considered an upset.

Also picked Hopkins over Pavlik.... Couldnt understand why Pavlik was such a big favorite, as i though people were jumping the gun on him.... The only i figured Pavlike could pull it off ,was if Hopkins was just shot... I figured Bhop was faded but still had enough.

Quite a few others but those are first to come to mind.

I picked Hopkins over Tito (IMO, not an upset), Tarver and Pav.

I picked him to lose to Calzaghe.

Was doing well with Bernard, till...

Pascal, whom I picked to win.

End of my BHop prediction streak.

But I was happy to be wrong there.
