I have been half reading some of the posts in the last couple of pages. So, someone has sent in a twisted article to boxingnews24 under the auspices of greenjab.ie i.e. saying Fitz was dropped at will etc?

Green jab has explained it wasnt him (and it is fairly obvious that he hasnt as he seems to be a good supporter of Fitz and that whole stable) - but there is an individual out there that would to go such lengths to do this? Have I got that right (I know - welcome to the thread gasman:lol:)?

Think that just about sums it up.Very bad form and very sad that someone would go to these lengths, was it Fitz they were getting at or Green Jab or was it a 2for.
Either way its probably someone that posts on here so if you are reading YOU ARE ONE SAD BASTAD AND NOT WANTED AROUND IRISH BOXING.

playing the "innocent card" eh Bren.

Dont worry, you are already in the frame, except your odds have just been cut to 25/1 after this little charade.

Valentino could do well here Matt. I know he lost to both Donovan and Joyce last year in Ireland but he has great experience and obvious class. Not like he's getting too old either. Just turned 27 so might even be hitting his prime now:think
Hopefully McDonagh does well here. If he gets a lucky draw and wins a medal then he would become even better again with the added confidence.

I am going to the hyland show, there's a good group of us coming up from cork to support spike, we are staying in the plaza in tallaght, do you think they will show macklin in the bar over there? I really do not want to miss it. I am a huge fan of macklins, can really see him doing a job on sturm.
I think in the past, he has been guilty of fighting at the level of his opponents, such as ruben varon where he was lacklustre and against sosa pintos where even though he boxed well, I think had he pushed on a bit, he could have pulled off a stoppage. Pound for pound though he has to be one of the best and most exciting irish fighters out there.
I think he has lacked the motivation and not been able to get up for fights before this, but he has to be up for this one against sturm and if he macklin turns up motivated and ready he will have a great chance, also one thing that macklin does not get much credit for are his boxing skills which are really underrated and will stand to him against sturm in germany.
