    He's a grade A ****!

His excuse for losing was that Groves didn't come in with the gameplan he anticipated and pretty much made it out like that wasn't his fault.

    James DeFail indeed.

So where do Jim McDonnell and James DeGale go from here?
DeGALE: I'm already back in the gym, ticking over, I'll be back fighting in September and I can't wait. I will still be world champion. This hasn't changed my path; I will still be a world champion by the end of next year. And you know what? If I am and Georgie Groves comes knocking on my door? Sorry... you've had your chance. That door ain't opening.

    What an absolute tool.

Im really happy that groves won this one, this guy is a total dick and deserved to be humiliated, it was a close fight and he lost the decision so he should stop whining, I hope groves doesnt give a rematch and moves on to better things.

I thought this loss would humble him slightly, make him focus more, stop him from letting the crowd dictate his fighting style. It clearly hasn't. He won't reach the top with this attitude.

''So why didn't you fight how you wanted then? As you say, you were the (British) champion, so why change your style?''

''Because they were booing. He was stinking the gaff out, they were booing us''

Just about sums him up, delusional

did you see the interview with degale a day after the fight, he was working on the speedbag looking like he was going to cry, I thought he would be more humbled as well. If he decides to keep a stupid attitude like I dont mind seeing him fall. I am hoping groves accomplishes more in his career.

This guy is a complete and utter ar$ehole. You'd think after his lost and with the bet being cancelled that he would be a little more humble, but he comes across as being much much worse.

At least with Floyd most of his antics are about him promoting the fight, this guy Degale is just no good. Ill be rooting for him to lose in his next fight........its just a shame hes talented.

I've actually met DeGale and he's a really nice lad.

He doesn't come across particularly well at times, unfortunately.

I just think he's struggling to accept that Groves picked his pockets, in a way that DeGale had publicly accused Groves of being unable to do.

If he gets the right backing, i.e. a new trainer and regular fights he'll do well.

Yeah, he hasn't stopped screaming robbery since the fight. It's the only way he is going to keep his pride though with the amount of shite he talked before the fight. "Come to box me and I will knock you out"..."Come to fight me and I will knock you out quicker".

I hope Groves does well in his career too.

I saw an interview he gave in the post fight, and his biggest whinge seemed to be that Groves didn't stand there with his chin in the air and let him tee off. I think he's so used to being spoon fed by his trainer and Fwank and having everything his own way he just couldn't cope with a slight hurdle like Grove getting on the back foot. He had the tools to beat Groves, he just wasn't mentally strong enough to adapt in there.

Quite possibly one of the most obnoxious arseholes ever to lace a pair of gloves. All his talk and promise's before the Groves fight, and Groves beat him yet again.I'm surprised he hasn't crawled under a rock and stayed there to save himself further embarrassment.
I've news for you James,as much as i like Groves,he isn't world class, and he did a number on you.Against anybody in the world rankings you'd be raped.
