Marvin Hagler on HOF weekend talking about Floyd "Who do you think you are"

I love Hagler, but I disagree with him on setting a age limit on boxers. He used 38 as an example and I cant justify taking away paydays from guys like Glen Johnson or Vitali, or any fighter that is still competitive at an older age.

I'm not entirely sure how this even addresses what Hagler spoke about. Do you mean that Floyd is using blood testing as a means to promote the fight outside of the ring?

I agree with Hagler and so does most of the boxing world it seems. Pacquiao and Mayweather are fighters, so fight.

 

The question of PBF playing a character is an interesting one. It is pretty well known that PBF at one point decided "Pretty" was not good enough and wanted to change his image to "Money". From slick young talent to business savvy bad-boy star. This is his boxing persona. How far or close is it to his real life everyday persona? No one is sure. It may have been at one point, just a persona. Maybe or maybe not, all the same now.

So yes, it is his own creation - "Money" - that what attracts and unfortunately detracts a lot of casual, media and even hardcore fans.
