The RJJ that fought johnny ruiz would embarass froch, just like Ward is going to do.

Froch has a great chin, good stamina and a good right hand. No left hook, bad defense, average footwork.

He struggled against kessler, dirrell and GJ.

 

Unless Froch was willing to travel the fight wouldnt happen. Everybody knows Jones wouldnt take on the real LHW champ Michalczewski, Jones was scared to travel and wouldnt face Eubank, Benn or Collins. Jones would only travel if he had everything to gain and nothing to lose, unlike Froch who has done both.
Jones would most likely be ahead on points before Froch catches up with him and stops him late like he did Taylor

Froch is a good fighter, nowhere near RJJ's level. He gets KTFO or toyed with for 12.

I like Carl Froch a lot, and I don't think Carl Froch would make it out the first round.

Hopkin's got his ass kicked, and at best Carl Froch would have been beaten like Hopkins. Honestly though he's not as fast as Hopkins. I do think he could maybe in his prime go 12 rounds, but not fighting the style he fights now with his chin out. Prime Roy would hit him with 10 check hooks and 6 uppercuts and no matter how good his chin is, it's not going to make a difference. The ref will stop the fight because he wouldn't be able to see Roy to throw a punch.

And this is something Carl Froch himself would probably admit if asked. He knows he wouldn't beat a prime Roy Jones, James Toney, Bernard Hopkins, nobody on this earth could have beaten a prime Roy Jones at 168. Probably nobody in the history of boxing would be able to beat a prime Roy Jones Jr at that weight.

At 175 I'd say Michael Moorer would have a chance at knocking Roy out. But at 168 I never even seen Roy looked hurt or stunned. He just was beating the **** out of people and making them look like children.
