Hey Fred, what about your filipina wife, does she have a sister/friends that is a U.S Citizen? Maybe introduce Angulo to one of her sisters or female friends get married "Voila" green card.

stick him on some undercards in mexico or main event on FNF or something. Even if its not that much money, he makes some cash while this problem gets fixed and he isnt as inactive which is bad for him.

The could have pushed to make him the televised co-feature of Alvarez's fight this week for instance. Or he'll just have to fight off US TV until he gets it sorted. Better than staying inactive.

He could fight in Canada and Mexico. Canada is a great place to fight these days as long as you're not fighting Canadian titlists.

That doesn't make any sense. Yeah the issue needs to be worked out, if it possibly can (he screwed up big time). But why the heck wouldn't he take the Martinez fight this July in Cancun? It's not like he's making money any other way. And the longer he stays off HBO, the less likely they will ever come down and show his fights. Let him starve a little and maybe he'll realize he needs to change his minimums. Kelly Pavlik changed his in order to get some stay busy fights. What does Angulo think he's going to do? He seems very out of touch with reality.

HBO and Showtime would probably be doing some Alvarez and Chavez fights from Mexico over the next few years. It would seem Angulo could fight on those cards. Maybe its more complicated than it seems or maybe Angulo doesn't want to fight for short money on undercards til this visa issue is resolved, if it ever is.

Angulo was a good fighter who made for entertaining fights. Boxing needs all of those types of fighters that it can get. Hope it all works out and we see Angulo in the ring soon.

This just shows he has an inflated sense of entitlement. First, he was in the United States illegally, despite the fact that he made decent money and has lawyers in his promotion company. Then, he proceeded to commit crimes while being here illegally. Now, he's too good to reduce his minimums and take a smaller payday.

Wow this sucks. I really feel for Angulo here. An exciting boxer that was good for the sport.
