I agree. Haye has skills and the athleticism to execute them. I'm sure Wlad knows what haye brings to the table, and is not seeing this as no contest like some of his fans. Wlad's boxing skills are primitive, no offense to him or his fanboys.
True but fluidity is the general answer for a stiff opponent. Even if Haye can't match what other fights, such as Donaire, have done, he is against a much stiffer opponent than any other elite fighter. Even if Haye can't get it down to a T, it could still come in handy. That said, Haye won't fight southpaw.
That's an awesome idea. Wladimir will have no idea what to do when Haye switches stances. Haye will then be free to exhibit Willie Pep-esque footwork while he peppers him with combinations that would make Pacquiao proud. Haye would be really stupid to try and switch stances. His footwork and balance is terrible enough in his natural form, switching to southpaw won't improve that.
Interesting little rumour. Marvin Hagler used to switch a lot of course, and for full rounds at a time. If Haye was thinking of using the southpaw tactic you'd think they'd be keeping it very quiet, and only practicing it in closed sessions. Perhaps they don't intend to use it at all, but want Wlad to know about it just to give him something extra to worry about.
Haye has been training to run...........track & field like he did against Valoeuv, no fighting, just running............
