    Chagaev is a Tatar, which i believe are Turkic people. Certainly not slavs.

    There is actually lot of diversity among Slavic peoples, and not a little animosity between different groups. My father, whose parents were immigrants from Poland, did not at all like Russians. There were some historic reasons for this, apparently, that I am unfortunately not all that familiar to with. Suffice it to say, not all Slavs are the same....or friends.:yep

    True, he's really Tatar/Uzbekh, though I suppose you could claim a degree of Slavicized

    Plenty of kind slavs out there.

    If you lived under communist rule for 50 years you'd be pretty cynical too.

    Its true Slavic people don't get along like in the olden times, My step dad(polish) hates Russians. I my self get along just fine with the Russians, My best friends Russian as well lol.

    But for Slavic people to be assholes I think thats more of a eastern Slavic thing, then a western/southern Slavic.

    Are you saying that the Nordic race is superior to all? :lol: What is it with those folks in always thinking they are superior to someone? How many Nordic HW champions in the last 25 years?

    Were they from Russia or Ukraine, because i've met a few from those regions that were cold like that. Most Slavs are very friendly people though.

    Not sure if anyone seen the Fedor vs Arlovski Fight but Fedor's trainer said something to the effect that Arlovski was winning but his Slavic heart led him to do something foolhardy and got him KTFO.

    Id say that this is pretty inaccurate. Of course there are many of these, just like in any other nationality, but a lot of us arent like that.

    yeah but Maskaev and Chagaev come from Borat type countries
    UzzzbeckyStan's where most of the population looks like Asians but
    Maskaev and Chagaev look white...

    Asian as in Oriental or Mongolian looking... I know Ukraine's not like
    that but most of those Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan nations are
    pre-dominately Oriental peoples or of mixed race...

    whats left of the whites is likely all related like in West Virginia :hey
