Carl Froch: "I look at Ward and I don’t see things that impress me"

does anyone think froch gets a fair shake from the judges if it (likely) goes to the cards?

Come on read the article properly and you will see that he is pointing out that styles makes fights. He even mentions that against certain oppostion his style looks clumsy and not that effective.

 

Fore sure you can easliy see that the fighter that impressed Froch is Roy Jones, but it's too bad Froch lacks the reflexes or skills to do real justice to fighting ala Roy Jones.

Would you be impressed with someone who was on the same level as you. I didn't think so, read the whole thing, how can you be impressed if you notice all the blunders the guy makes.

It should be speed against power. This will be a fun watch and a must see!!!

 

Froch is telling the truth. Ward probably doesn't see any thing particularly impressive in Froch. Gonna be a great fight.

 

Ward was the most impressive in the Kessler fight. After that fight he was a clear favorite to win the S6. But after that Froch pulled some great performances while Ward was under expectations. So i consider this to be a 50-50 fight. Maybe 55-45 for ward.

 

Froch is impressive in that he always finds a way to win, but he is nothing impressive to look at. His whole style is terrible to the eye. It's the thing that makes him dangerous though, but he's better than he looks to be. The guy looks awful in the ring. He's slow, unathletic, etc.

 

Talent recognizes talent. Froch knows what he's getting into.

of course. ward hasnt won any fights on the cards that he shouldnt have. but i think ward will be just too good.
