No poll, just opinions. I'm feeling so freakin lazy today.

Ok, so who do you think is closest to a title shot at 185:

    1. Mark Munoz
    2. Brian Stann
    3. Michael Bisping

    Thoughts?

    Munoz

Coming off a win over former challenger
Wrestler is Andersons weakness, easy to hype
    Affable guy, fans like him
American, with Latino origins help to markets to that market in a similar vein to Cain and that may help to steal PPV buys from the Latino Boxing buys which is keeping boxing afloat ore or less

He also trained at Black House for a long time. Anderson wasn't too pleased with Vitor because of that sort of thing....

If Stann can get another win behind him it's a marketable fight.

Winner of Bisping/Miller, maybe.... after TUF they'd have the name for it, Bisping especially.

All 3 guys are marketable but in order Id put them
Munoz - Latin, best recent win, wrestler
Bisping - Big UK star, will be a stand up fight, with someone(no prizes for guessing who) os getting KTFO
Stann - Big puncher, marine backround

But Mikes out of the picture and Stann maybe needs another good win

Munoz is the top contender. The only clear loss on his record is to Hamill, and he has done enough since then to climb his way back to the top. Munoz has good hand speed and power, but is still lacking a lot technically in his stand up. If Maia can be effective against him standing, it's not hard to imaging Anderson hurting him there either. But you have to remember that Anderson doesn't have Maia's ground game. There's only a precious few that do.

This sort of confirms where the 185 lb division is right now , Mark Munoz being labelled elite !!! :huh

In the UFC i actually rate Alan Belcher as the #2 fighter in the MW division , however his lay off has labelled him somewhat irrelevant , and the last time Belcher had a lay off his come back fight was a disaster and he was completely schooled by Kendal Grove .

I would personally like to see Silva Souza , just simply because its a marketable fight , im not interested in any of the current MW's fighting AS , infact , id actually like to see the current crop of B level figters fight it out and see AS jump to 205 and fight one of the fringle level contenders up there , even maybe one of the elite's .............

Ofcourse there's always Silva GSP , but that fat ******* Dana White has killed that !!!
