If Khan Beats Zab Judah Should He Be Number #1 140lber?

Yeah, I'd say Alexander was so garbage against the no.1 in the division it goes against him.

I think Bradley is better than Khan (and that Amir is nothing special) but fact is, his resume (at 140) is getting some depth to it. Matthyse is not as good as Maidana IMO, so if Alexander beats him he will establish himself in the top five again (Bradley, Khan, Kotelnik, Maidana, Judah/Alexander) IMO :thumbsup

 

Yes i believe Khan deserves to be number 1 if he comes through Super Judah, even though Zab is getting on a bit he is still a very dangerous fighter. Amir's resume will look quite a bit better then Bradleys.

 

The only one of those I'd slightly agree with is Maidana > Holt (based on styles) and even that's questionable because I think Holt could probably beat Maidana.

I wouldn't put him ahead, but he'd certainly be closing the distance - especially if Bradley continues to be as inactive as he is.

He needs to beat Bradley to get that number one spot. No other way about it.

 

Khan wanted to fight the No.1 at 140 Bradley after facing Maidana who was Khan's hardest match up at 140 due to his style and power.

With Bradley not opting to take the fight, Khan will face the next Champion at the weight who again has the power and this time speed and skill to give Khan problems. In beating Judah and then also holding two World Titles and his wins over, Kotelnik, Paulie, Maidana, and Judah puts Khan in pole IMO at 140 as he also did try his up most to get Bradley in the ring with him also.

Yeah you know anything can happen, but I think Judah wont use his reach, it will be more case of Khan walking onto shots which would be a worry.

No. Bradley IMO made himself the #1 before Khan got there, then unified. Khan needs Bradley.

Bradley not wanting to face him is a contractual decision. I believe it will happen after the next set of fights.

Either way, Judah doesn't change much. Even with regard to belts, it's a belt Bradley should have.

Khan v Barerra was at lightweight and it was a total farce. The other two 140ers Khan's faced are Dmitri Salita and Paul McCloskey.
