I saw a thread on another site where by someone asked this question, now having seen a video blog of Haye (speaking confidently about the fight), and heard the interview Craig Slater did with Emanuel Steward, where by Slater said that Booth said he and Haye lmost have a foolproof game plan, it makes you think what Booth and Haye have up their sleeve. I have been thinking about the above, and having seen David Price the other night, and that Haye has been sparring with him, bare in mind Price, like Wlad, whilst not having the experience Wlad has, is another patient Boxer with superior physical dimensions, it makes you ask yourself, is it because Haye has been handling Price in sparring?
This is all hype, hoopla, the best wait to anaylse what will happen is to look at there last few yrs of PERFORMANCE. Forget what they say. You have to be confident to have any hope of winning. I'm glad Haye seems supremely confident - that makes this a fight. It might well all change when he gets hit though. Booth and Haye are just talking crap about "foolproof strategy". There's no magic strategy, or new thing that we've never seen before. He has to go in there and do what he's been doing over the many years he's been fighting - only he has to do it better than ever, and at a higher level.
not sure bud, maybe he has.... i know price is a partner for certain...... others no idea....sure someone will knw...... groves talking.... http://www.espn.co.uk/boxing/sport/story/96223.html
Haye is confident, he looks beastly and hes been sparring the likes of Price, Helenius and Wilder, wouldnt be surprised if hes had all three over tbh
I get why he's confident, all fighters are, just curious as to why Booth seems to think he knows something Steward doesn't.
Did Haye spar with Robert helenius in the end? I think it was planned for the 6th,7th and 8th... Well anyway helenius is injured now but I think that is due to a fractured hand. If they did spar does anyone know how Haye handled him?
