The more I think about this the more I see David Haye winning this fight.

Same, I know you're backing Haye but I originally picked Wladimir. I'm still not sure and think it definitely could go either way but right now I think it's much more likely that Haye gets a knockout win than Wlad does. Unless Haye completely burns himself out which I really don't see happening, I just don't know Klitschko will be able to connect often enough to really hurt him. From then on, all Haye has to really do is make sure he bags at least 7 rounds clearly whilst hurting Wlad if he can tag him with relative ease.

I'm not sure it'll be a great fight in the ring, but it's a great fight on paper and really hard to call IMO. Right now I'm leaning more towards Haye, I think he genuinely wants it more than I might have originally anticipated.

  6. Helenius (talking about his sparring with Haye)
"It was really an amazing experience.
We sparred for 16 rounds and we both had our moments in the sparring
Yes, he is in good condition.
It was a little surprise on how well I was doing against him.
I still have things I need to work on, but all and all things are in any good shape"

David Haye looks like he's going to come in about, 220-223 pounds. He looks like he's in similair shape to the John Ruiz fight. When a fighter gains 10-12 pounds from fight to fight, somebody of David Haye's mental make up, and approach. Thats not down to lack of training, or lack of discipline. I think this is more of a tatical approch.......

During the Harrison vs Haye build up, you heard David Haye constantly banging on about. His fitness and the work he had been doing on the track, weather it was on twitter or during the interviews. He was always going on about, his sprint workouts and track conditioning.

"He was absoulutly livid, and fanatic about his training. Constantly repeating that he is in the best shape of his life, constantly repeating that he's done more in this training camp than ever befoe, constantly repeating that he cannot lose"

"David Haye was a complete trance"

    ??????

Many people may think this was down to Adam Booth aka the Dark Lord. But i believe that it was down to Audley Harrison, something within David Haye's mental make up and aura.......was bothered and alearted by David Haye, something was disturbed and awoken.

People will never give David Haye credit for what he did to Audley Harrison. But i am one of those individuals, that do him credit. For however how long Audley Harrson fights, there will never be another opponent. Who reduced him to landing one punch, who reduced him to being scared to throw "to the extent of Haye".........it will never happen again.

Everybody who has been following this build up, of David Haye vs Waldimir Kiltschko. Have all seen a distinct change in David Haye's deameaner, some say its down to fear, some say that he looks subdued.

"But there has been a distinct change"

Personally i think David Haye was poccessed last time out, Audley Harrison put David Haye into a trance, and vice versa. They both did that to each other.................

I don't think David Haye will ever be in the shape, physically and technically like he was against Audley Harrison again.

Its almost as if, David Haye has reached the moutain top. And he's standing at the summit, just for that one moment in his life and career admiring what he's achieved, admiring what he has become.

    He's said in recent interviews...

"I no longer have to do much in fight build ups, everybody knows who i am, everybody knows my name"

Something has changed within David Haye.

I'm not saying he's going to lose the fight, but something has changed!!!

Change for the better or the worst..????? we will see.

Been watching early rounds of Wlad and Haye's fights.

Here's my breakdown (Sorry bit long but none the less)

I'm going for Haye, For a while i wasn't to sure because Haye being reckless at times and his footwork putting him in precarious positions but you know what i think that's what's going to win him this fight.

The fact Wlad has to extend the arm as a range finder but also there for safety to sit behind. He likes to be in control and mentally become the ring general to judges but also to opponents. He comes out with quick steps across ring to gain centre from the get go so that he forces opponent into his fight. He likes to prod the half extended arm out and break concentration with jab whether it be a flick or a full jab he then starts to pop the odd right hand behind it once he gets comfy.

Haye can't allow this he's got to get to middle of ring with him and circle to Wlad's left staying on the outside. Wlad still circles to opponents right hand but what he's done since his losses is use the lead hand as a block. You step to him he steps back or prods the lead hand out and pushes you down.

Many of Wlad's opponents stand at range and move head a little but they should be moving there feet. Make Wlad pick his feet up and offset his jab. Wlad sometimes gets brave and will walk towards opponent and bears down on them many back to ropes and stand and allow him to work away. Haye has to be brave small steps back and feint to throw a lead hook or right hand then slide away. Wlad normally steps back away because he's in fear. This also sets up Haye's work for later on in bout.

I've noticed that early doors you can get close to Wlad and he panics and holds. He will fall short with jab and will at times get clipped by certain shots that i will allude to later. David cannot allow Wlad to get into a rhythm the fight will be won for him if he sets the foundation down.

I watched Wlad vs Chambers and Chageav and both men landed clipping shots and Wlad looked petrified as them shots come in. I think Haye will have to work as i said with lots of Lateral movement at times stepping off and allowing Wlad to come to him and then stepping to Wlad mixing it up and keeping Klitchscko waiting on him. Haye will need to feint from body to head mixing up how he does it but this is where i think he wins.

The fact Haye is a very econmical yet IMO effective puncher aligned with fact he's so quick will help but the major strength in this bout is his variation of punches. David can let the shots go with both hands but the difference between him and many other fighters Wlad has been 'fed' recently is he doesn't throw your textbook jab/right hand/hook.

He can as we saw against Ruiz a crisp and 'short' left right. But then we seen him land looping punches on Valuev and shaken the Giant to his boots! Now what do we think of Wlad and looping shots? well as much as he's good at keeping fighters at bay with his lead hand most look to land more punches through the seem rather then over and round. His losses he's been caught with more wider flung shots to wobble him (Saunders,Purity,Peter)

I'd like to see David take his head off line and create angles for his punches and look to punch in 2's and 3's with power and then away. He shouldn't fear being countered in close because Klitschko doesn't possess short enough punches to be effective in there. So if Haye can circle well on the outside and throw ''lead left hook (fake just to take eyeline) and bring right over shoulder of Wlad he will connect. Klitschko can deal with one punch but if your bold and brave and throw 2 or 3 punches with speed and aggression you will land. He gets himself in a muddle he steps back if he can but if not he just tries to grab and lean back from shot.

I believe the fight with have sporadic moments of excitement but Haye will try negate Wlad's work and look to work when he fancies keeping Klitschko anxious cos he sure will be. The sporadic moments will benefit Haye who is brave and will let his hands go and step in. He knows it's better to step in with punches then stand at range and throw jabs with Wlad. Haye's athleticism is unrivaled by other Wlad opponents of recent times.

Haye is pretty much same size as Chambers/Chagaev and punches a damn sight harder. Haye will win this fight early IMO after a tense and nervy start i think he will drop Wlad in Round 2 and finish him on feet with Ref waving it off. (Ref will do up most to waste time and give Klitschko every chance to recover).
