    Antonio Margarito has agreed to challenge WBA junior middleweight Miguel Cotto on December 3 in New York City. According to one of his handlers, Francisco Espinoza, the ‘Tijuana Tornado’ has already received the doctor’s approval and is in the preliminary phase of his training. The bout will be for Cotto’s 154lb title with no catch weight.

    Excellent, another great fight to round up the year 2011. I like Cotto, but I'll be going for Margo. He has so many arrogant haters, I'd love for him to stick it to em by winning a 154 title, and then maybe another one vs Chavez at 160 to become a 3 division champ. Margarito vs Martinez rematch would then be massive if that was to happen.

    As much as I am looking forward to this fight, I would have liked to first see a rematch between Williams and Margo... and the winner then fighting Cotto. But since this is not the case, Im still looking forward to this one.

    The only way for cotto to win is by a incredibly boring decision, I still think margo KOs him on the late rounds. cotto hasnt face anyone "good" at 154, margo will be much stronger and bigger than him. props to cotto for not wanting a catch weight for this
