I also have seena bit of a slowdown for Pacquiao over his last three fights.

I don't see it in the Clottey or Margarito fights at all. They were just huge guys that couldn't be knocked out.

Agreed. He looked great against both guys. His feet still looked like he was walking on air. Amazing side to side and in and out movement.

its good that JMM addresses his physicalness, though it may be a bit late in his boxing career to improve on it effectively lol.

Other than that, JMM doesnt need any other adjustments, except maybe to work on a specific counter punch that may be a key/swing tactic. His boxing style works well with Pacquiao's....

I see that Pacquiao's physical abilities were and ARE the key advantages he has, and JMM knows this.

If JMM goes in there trying to fight Toe to Toe he is getting dropped.

historically, thats not the case. But strong speculation and belief says YES! Pacquiao just has faced bigger and stronger opposition for the past few years. Talking about guys 2 weight divisions heavier than Marquez, B+ fighters he whooped up on. If that doesnt give you an edge from their past fights, i dont know what does!

I think Mosley, for all of his offensive failings, still showed that pacquiao's angles don't work if you have the efficiency of feet and footspeed, along with the right gameplan, to circle him. This doesn't mean that Floyd will pick him apart; he fights in straight lines and relies on his reach to control the distance and counter. But JMM can still find ways to give Pac hell, given he comes in at a healthy and formidable physical condition.

There isn't enough **** in the world for Marquez to drink in order for him to match speed and power with Pac(there are enough PEDs out there for him to do that though). Marquez is a good, determined fighter. However, he's outgunned here. Expect a beating.

    :huh

Did you see the first 2 fights with JMM and Pac? JMM countered the **** out of him. Landing clean combinations on him after making him miss, or taking a shot.

And YES, JMM is "the ultimate counter puncher".

Floyd schooled him, because, Floyd is bigger, faster and an even better boxer than him. :deal

    Really?

I seem to remember some guy called Floyd being far, far better than Marquez

Bigger, stronger & faster too IIRC
