Anybody that lost the gary lockett shouldnt ever fight for a world title! Simple as that.

Mattew hatton, now Rhodes.( ranked 20th in the 154lb world.:patsch I would rather see cintron or angulo or Pawel Wolak .

    easy fight for canelo.:deal

    discuss this farce

Fights like this are wicked when they back fire in HBO faces lol

Easy money is in Canelo, but I beleive it's a little step up for him.

Your av of Sasha distracted me, that's all I have to say about this thread :D

number 4 in the ring rankings, and a solid contender, this is a good fight for a young 20 year old and it wont be easy.

Stop looking at BoxRec and watch the fights.

If Canelo beats Rhodes clearly, I will be very, very impressed.

Rhodes lost at a higher weight to lockett, and is natural and undefeated at 154lbs.

This is not a great fight by any means, but it could be worse. Plus all those other guys mentioned are either busy with other fights or have visa problems.

of course it is and people talking about rhodes like they know something about him and like the fight is going to be good. when broner and jason fight, that will be the good fight. i look for alverz to walk over rhodes, they dont have me fooled.

Put £2 on Ryan Rhodes to win by knockout on any round of your choosing. And if it comes true, you win £132. :bbb (bet365)

Just because many of you have no clue as to who Ryan Rhodes is.... that is no reflection of his worth as a fighter.

It's no worse than Martinez-Barker, the difference being that Saul is a very young champion and Martinez is supposedly a P4P fighter that should be fighting the best out there.

So I like this way better than Martinez-Barker, but nobody seems to complain about that farce.

actually, i disagree with you regarding boxrec. rhodes ko'd jamie moore who beat 31-year-old lujan two years ago. the same lujan that went 12 rounds with dzinzurik and 10 rounds with a prime antonio margarito.

a prime antonio margarito destroys and subsequently ruins alvarez, now or in the future. people just dont understand. canelo is an accident waiting to happen.

although i dont think rhodes is the one to do it as he is fighting in canelos hometown at an altitude of 6000 feet, the facts above warrant a small play on rhodes.
