They would take that fight provided the pay was fair....however timing is wrong at the moment mate as Alex has a small calf injury and cant train 100% yet

A fight like this you need a solid 4 to 6 weeks in the gym :good

I heard he's lined up to fight another former Australian heavyweight champ?

100 percent agree you need 4-6 weeks, but if fight was offered how often would you have the chance to fight someone that is beatable yet still a name and get paid well to fight (assuming he is actually paid well), if he gets the chance to fight liakhovich i think hell be a real live underdog and whats more even if he looses i think theyd give him another shot because hes an interesting fighter

You don't take a fight like this underdone....unless your a journeyman....if Alex wasn't injured they would look hard at it however the point is mute...the fights been put back anyway

For sure mate...it's a great fight for Alex but only if he's 100% fit and ready

No need for Alex to take a hard fight coming off an injury and not 100% fit

Leapai is the kind of guy Mark Demori should try and get after a few tune ups. I talked to him yesterday and he said guys like Travis Walker are on his radar in order to raise his identity in the HW division. Mark is always happy to talk to fans on FB and always takes the time to answer questions
