Just rewatching the fight, it looks like he paws with his left and comes in behind his left. Against Floyd, thats not going to work.

I hope he develops his right jab and moves to his right. His right jab will be key to beating Mayweather.

Ortiz' jab is almost non-existent. He's better off not using it at all, than to try and develop it in one training camp and using it to **** effect - allowing Mayweather to counter it all night.

Pretty sure he is a converted southpaw is Ortiz.

He definately needs to work on developing a strong jab,
if he hasnt already - I agree with the OP, in that it would be smart to.

No one can save Ortiz from schooling no matter what he do and this will not be COMPETITIVE.

dude Ortiz has no chance. He is easy to hit and easy to read. He has no experience. He's only 24 and only been 12 rounds once in his whole career.

I know I said the same **** before the Berto fight, but Berto is no Mayweather. And the Berto fight was actually close. When Berto chose to box, he got the best of Ortiz.

Ortiz has to just be Ortiz. Come in shape and follow his game plan.

Pretty stupid gameplan like Uncle Rico just said... he stands no chance if he chooses to box with Mayweather.

DLH had a great jab and couldn't beat Maywather.

Castillo didn't had a great jab and beat Mayweather.

    So no.

I agree DLH had a better jab and Castillo wasn't known for his jab, but he did a decent job jabbing his way in to Mayweather.

Nope, Berto is bigger, tougher, younger, more active then Mayweather.
