I can't think of many fighters I would want to fight LESS than Hopkins. He's tough, he knows every trick in the book, he has great timing and conditioning, he's dirty and he will talk **** an embarrass you in front of millions of people. If he catches you open you might just get KO'ed. On top of that, he'd be more than happy to meet you in the parking lot to settle any problems you might have, and I'm sure he'd be even tougher outside the ring.
If this is the toughest guy on your island, then you guys certainly don't want me to come over there. I'd be running that place in less than a day. This content is protected
Good athlete but not the toughest. A typical narrow minded view from yourself that wasn't hard to see coming. You couldn't run ****!
I am British, but I've never been particularly bowled over by any fighters from the UK. Dunno why. I really like Lennox Lewis, Ken Buchanan, and had a soft spot for the young Chris Eubank, but I dunno if I'd call any of them "fearsome". Maybe Nigel Benn was fearsome. He was a fearsome puncher, for sure.
not in this era but certainly back in the day - Benn was an animal , Charlie Magri was a brutal little ******* , Dennis Andries had caveman like strength and ask david haye how hard Carl Thompson was even at 40 years old . Boxing in general is on its arse - British boxing even more so , a quick look at Boxings flagship division gives a good indication of the health of boxing in 2011.
