I recently came across a Tyson bashing article, cant remember what website, will search for it later.

The writer finished the article by saying, In an era of great heavyweights, Tyson only fought on ATG and lost to him (Holyfield) Which we all know is a load of crap.

The question i want to ask is, who is most guilty of ducking other ATGs during the 80/90s

    Holmes
    Spinks
    Tyson
    Holyfield
    Bowe
    Foreman
    Lewis

Riddick Bowe trashing his belt after low balling lewis with a 90/10 offer is the biggest duck of the 90's.

lewis turned down 13m to fight tyson in 96 but chose to take 4m stepaside money dosent seem to me that tyson was the coward and i think you would find the desiree washington case had a bit to do with tyson and holyfield not fighting in late 91 or early 92 :deal .

None of them were particularly guilty of ducking. Of course, we've all heard about Bowe and Lewis but I think even that's quite misunderstood.

No, I think Foreman would have taken a Tyson fight, for sure.
But Tyson was always being steered on a different path.

Maybe Foreman "ducked" Holmes when they were both 45 - 50 years old, but who cares ?

I don't think Bowe ducked all those guys. He just became washed-up all of a sudden, and was the first to be completely eliminated from the crop. Bowe-Tyson was the big fight everyone wanted but then Bowe looked awful in the first Golota fight, and took another beating in the rematch.

Mayweather Jr , Roid Jones Jr , Lennox Lewis (was content to "beat" every man he ever faced) , Joe Calzaghe , Bernard Hopkins , Riddick Bowe , George Foreman , Shane Mosley (avoided Floyd in his prime , Paul Williams , Tszyu ) ,
    Ray Leonard.
Most of the ones the hype is about really , even Pacquiao .
Pacquiao won a title @ 135 against one of the weaker champs there and avoided good fights by clinging hard to the lowest weights possible , then he disagrees drug test .. and of course he would have never fought Paul Williams .. the catchweight king that he is ..
