    Will ad the new names as soon as Ive got time

    It is interesting. I find it amusing that Wanderlei is up there with Belfort and Dan as the guys I think who are still going strong against a high level of competition. Tito isnt no can in his old age either, though he's losing more convincingly to lesser fighters as each one passes

    And Dan Severn proves the power of the moustache

    This is sad. But really not surprising. The early fighters in MMA were just sooooo ridiculously tough that you can be rest assured Mark Kerr, Coleman, Randleman, Goodridge etc will all be in the same nursing home together in their early 50's. All of them left the sport too late.
    Hendo and Randy have managed to extend their careers with hormones replacement. But you can bet your life the likes of Big Nog Wandy Sakuraba and CC will are feeling the full effect of years at the highest level in this sport and in the toughest leagues MMA had to offer.

    It must be hard for these guys when they are past their prime but the (relatively) big money is now coming into MMA

    Comparatively they're fighting for peanuts when you compare the kind of money UFC stars are on now. This doesn't even take into account bonuses, ad revenue, sponsors etc.
    Back then guys were literally fighting to feed their family's. They were far hungrier. From a sentimentality perspective that's why they'll go down in this sport as legends.

    Yeah but I guess that someone like Randleman made more in his last fight than he did when he was UFC champ

    Not as early as some of the above mentioned but Frank Mir UFC debut at UFC 34, is pretty early

    I did fella and cheers for the input. But I think we need a few guys a little bit closer to Randlemans UFC 19 appearance to make it worth putting him on the list

    If you think of anyone closer to that or likewise any Pride guys I'll be happy to add them
