IKe Quartey was 30. And winky wright was dominated.

So that leaves one fighter. Vitali.

Hagler was faded. He was not the Hagler of old as given in his performance against Mugabi.

SRL picked Hagler at the right time.

Ortiz is in comparison coming off a great performance against Berto.

You literally came up with 2 fighters to do it. Thats including Wright who was dominated.

You had to pull Hagler vs SRL out of your ass. When Hagler is older the SRL.:lol::lol:

Fukin haters lose all my respect when they change the goalposts.

I bitched and moaned that he was fighting a lightweight and a shot fighter so we had no indication of how good he still is; if he smacks ortiz around he answers my criticism and jumps straight in at number 2 on any respectable p4p list, especially considering martinez is fighting barker next.

You can't complain about him fighting old guys and still complain when he fights a young, prime beast of a welterweight who enters the ring as a middleweight come fight night. I mean fuk me anyone not impressed by this **** must hold floyd to such a high standard that unless he goes back to 1940 and whips joe louis nothing is good enough.

Ortiz is the best active welter not named pac. He is young, prime and southpaw. Floyd is coming off a year and half of inactivity. What the fuk is there to complain about?

I can't wait for this fight! We either see the end of an era or the build up to the biggest fight in history! Win win baby! No reason to complain bout this great fight at all!

You're pulling alot out of your ass claiming fighting Ortiz is more dangerous than fighting Hagler, Williams, and a young De La Hoya. The guys who didn't win lost because their challenges were bigger. Fighting Ortiz? These guys are ATG and you're saying Ortiz is more dangerous. Get off Floyds d#$#. Even an old Hagler wouldn't quit against a fighter like Maidana. Hell, he destroyed a bigger and better puncher in Mugabi. You sound stupid trying to compare Floyd vs Ortiz to these guys. Yes Wright was dominated but he stepped up and fought Williams at a time no one wanted to.

I can't think of this ever happening off-hand. When exactly is a fighter in their mid-30s coming off a TWO-YEAR hiatus to fight a young champion? I sure as hell can't think of any situation which fits that description.

    :patsch:patsch:patsch

I said fighter coming off 2 year or 17 month whatever hiatus in his mid-30's fighting a young champion. So far Winky and Vitali. With only Vitali winning.

Floyd is always cautious and just reads his opponent in the first few rounds. I expect Ortiz to have his moments just like Mosley, Judah, Hatton, Corley and Mitchell had but by the 4th round Floyd will have him figued and not lose a round from then on.

well yes that's what is expected but like I said there is opportunities for Ortiz that all those guys didn't have. The age, ring rust and youth advantage. We all know it does not matter who you are. You step outside the ring for 2 years and you will have ring rust for at least a good 2-4 rounds. Specially when facing a young guy with speed and power. I would not be at all surprised if ortiz knocks pbf down early when pbf does not have his reflex fully adjusted.

ortiz last time out looked a man on a mission. Now that he won alot of people are dismissing how we had threads saying ortiz would get tkod and he had no chance. It was too soon blah blah blah. A motivated ortiz is dangerous as we saw. Lets not forget alot of you guys were saying the bast challenge for pac was berto.

You're also speaking of it as if it has happened already. Mayweather hasn't beaten Ortiz yet and for all we know, he could end up like SRL/Norris. For all we know, this fight could end up cancelled. You're speaking on something as if it has already happened already.....idiot.

Also, Foreman beat many young cats off layoffs.

Moorer was one of them. Foreman-46 came off a 17 month layoff to beat Moorer-26. Let Floyd adapt to that

Foreman, and he was in his 40s. And Floyd is not on a two year hiatus, it will be 17 months just like Foreman when he fought Moorer.

im not exactly sure what your "underlying intentions" are going with this - but is more fun speculating what it is, compared to unsuccessfully answering your question, considering that there isnt a legit answer in your opinion in the first place....

    Underlying Agenda
    1) passively seeking praise for your god
    2) presetting a possible out/reason for a loss, consciously guised as under courageousness by PBF

yeah, this ***** has it all figured out in his head already....
