It's 75/1 on a specific round bet for Rhodes now! That's unbelievable. The odds have been drifting more and more to the point that I'm now starting to wonder if something unseen is going on. Hope there's no injury that's been kept hidden... Or Javier Capetillo is making an appearance in Alvarez's corner!

His got a great chance. Is strong at the weight, good skills, decent power and is very experienced. Canelo is in for a hard night win or lose. I'd fancy Ryan to win a lot more if he hadn't been so inactive in the last year or so.
    Should be a good one.

I wasn't going to make a prediction fro fear of hexing Rhodes but my feeling is strong here...cometh the hour, cometh the man, and that man is Ryan Rhodes. Alvarez will struggle to come to terms with Ryans southpaw stance and walk onto a massive, booming left hand moving off the ropes in the 7th round, he won't get up.

If Alvarez cant stop Matt Hatton who is with all due respect a domestic level welterweight how on earth is he going to stop a big strong natural light middle weight like Rhodes .

Brendan Ingle must of been one the luckiest guys of the 90's, bumping into the most talented Bunch of black & white guys in history.

I personally think Brendan Ingle was full of ****, with his training from a technical point of view. In terms of building character he was great, and confidants, but technically he was working with some of the most gifted, creative athlete's physically to EVER step inside of the british boxing ring.

Look at the state of Junior Witter now.

He looks like a complete novice.

He did, but after a long lay off and a step up in weight. Baldo is a career WW

witters primary problem is that he thought he could convert his speed and style up a division but is finding that the going is far tougher

either drop back down or just call it a day, you`ve shown the whole world you are not capable of competing at 147pds

As for rhodes...i dont see anything other than an alvarez win. Rhodes is an all or nothing fighter, he`ll get out classed early doors and go chasing the fight, sadly that will be his downfall

    hope im wrong

wasnt baldo like well over 40 as well? a light punching, career welter who was always hittable vs a well powered, strong light middle it was a joke of a fight and it still took him a few rounds to put him away. The finish was brutal when it came but if he cant stop hatton i cant see him stopping rhodes
