Over the last few days two legendary names in Boxing have publicly showed support for Manny Pacquiao. On Tuesday, middleweight legend Marvin Hagler blasted Floyd Mayweather Jr. a few days ago as ripped the undefeated boxer for not fighting Pacquiao. And on Wednesday, heavyweight legend Evander Holyfield also praised Manny for his accomplishments in Boxing. According to a Tuesday report by ESPN.com, Marvin Hagler made the following comments about Mayweather Jr.:

“Here's a guy (Mayweather) that wants to dictate to another person and wants to tell you what he wants to do. I think that Pacquiao is right... I mean, who are you? If you want to fight, let's fight. Let's stop all this nonsense."

Marvin Hagler hit the nail on the head with these comments. The legendary boxer got to the crux of the matter and blasted Floyd for trying to dictate what Pacquiao should do especially when his accusations are baseless. Hagler sees this fight between Floyd and Manny as a boost to Boxing and restoring the sport back to its glory days. This fight could become the top selling PPV of all-time, not to mention the numerous other records it would break. Instead, the failed negotiations has become a black eye on the sport.

If that weren't enough to convince Floyd and his loyal fans, on Wednesday Evander Holyfield also came out an publicly supported Manny. Evander made the following comments about Manny Pacquiao, according to 8CountNews.

"For a smaller guy to come all the way up in weight, and beat bigger guys up to 154 pounds, it says a lot. He works hard in the gym, and that is what pays dividends in the ring. He gets in the ring and he takes care of business."

Unlike Floyd Jr. and his relatives, Evander attributes Manny's success to his hard work training and doesn't attribute it to PEDs like the Mayweathers constantly do. Holyfield would also praise Manny for being a great ambassador to the sport of Boxing and that his love for the fans separates him from everyone else.

Who cares it is a new day.... Boxers in the 80's used to ask for drug test in the cocaine era so whatever. I feel Floyd can win either way I used think he was saying this to stall but now I am think he just doesn't want to risk that 0

Almost everyone in this world sides with Pacquiao, not just the boxing legends.

This is got to be sad for Floyd. I am sure he can beat Pacquiao if he would just stopped making excuses not to fight him. Don't know how his fans continue to support him, and I am not talking about the *****s.

Great champions, but in the brain department, they both are much closer to Joe Frazier than Mohammad Ali.
Meaning: Neither Hagler or Holyfield possess very deep thought capability.
