Not sure what the rush is to get Geale in with Martinez?
Let the guy defend his title a couple of times and fight someone like Manfredo so he could get a bit of press in the States.
At the very least it will give him a bit more clout at the negotiating table in regards to a Martinez fight in the future.

I would like to see Geale v Barker with the winner fighting Martinez but something tells me the difference in class would be just a step above to when Lockett fought Pavlik and Jennings fought Cotto at this stage in their respective careers .

 

Both Martinez and Golovkin have expressed interest in Geale,I think they would both be high risk fights,he should sit back and enjoy his time at the Top and I agree should look at them some time down the track,but not at this stage.!!!!
