who won the face off haye or wlad?

I'm rooting for Wlad in this, but there's no denying that David owned him there. He made me chuckle with the spidey senses bit. And because the interview is conducted in English, David's words flew out more freely and convincingly. On the other hand, Wlad's facial expressions spoke more words than his actual tongue, with it being quite clear that Haye has got under his skin worse than most people thought.

But despite all that, Haye's dickheadedness shined through as always. He was being childish at times. Which, of course, is to be expected by him.

 

The entire thing looked scripted from the get-go.

Kellerman asks "Can I get you to shake hands gentlemen???". How idiotic is that to ask? He obviously knew they wouldn't shake hands. This was obviously discussed between the three and they used it as an opener.

Kellerman looked clueless at times, didn't know what to ask. HBO seem to think they have to create a fake, rehearsed drama without any substance whatsoever in order to create interest.

To anyone who thinks the animosity and "hate" was real: Why didn't we see any of that in the press conferences? Haye wasn't giggling in the press conferences, threw few if any insults at all and Wlad wasn't issuing death threats.

Guess what: Press conferences are live events. No HBO editing. No TV scripting.

 

What does that even mean? Is this meant to insult me? I want Wlad to win, you do realise this don't you? You just come across as quite possibly the most ******ed poster on ESB, and that is hard.

clearly Wlad... Haye looked like a little kid in there.

But who cares? Just like the face off's after the weigh-in, it means nothing unless one of them clearly craps his pants.
It's the fight what it's all about, and finally I start to believe it will actually happen.

I am just about to watch it now.

To me it was a draw. Haye got the better of the first half but then when the nerves set in he started giggling and looked stupid.

It was Hayes to be won, but he threw it away with his fits of giggles.

 

the clutching at straws at haye fans and anything to make them feel like theyve won something.tho i fail to understand how u win a face off lol...anyway point im making as there was some funny stuff,some serious stuff and some anger..its abit unfair that its done in english and wlad cannot respond quickly because of this.haye ofcourse knows this and keeps firing which ofcourse makes him look better..i wonder if it was done in german who would look the silly man???anyway hope its a gd fight build up has been spot on so far

 

Thats rich. Haye fans seem to think vicious trash talk equals Heavyweight credentials. Haye has ****ing fought old bums like Monte Barrett, Audley Harrison, and John Ruiz. David beat Valuev by MD in the Worst Heavyweight title fight in history- Majority Decision! Holyfield at middle age fought better than Haye did aganst Valuev!!


Haye has done '**** all' at Heavyweight besides promote himself to idiot fans who are dumb enough to buy into Hayes banter like the Klitschkos have no chance and he is a great HW World Champion. When in reality Haye is weak chinned ex Cruiserweight who has wasted the last several years cherry picking bum fights, picked up a worthess paper belt and talked himself into a Klitschko fight.

Haye has the menatality of about a 16 year old. He is borderline ****ing ******ed.
