Hope that's not one of those scam deals where the tipster claims to need a middle man to place his bets. My grandad got involved a couple of years ago with one - very, very lucky in the end... Ended up £3K up, but the organisation contacting him was full of ****. If it's a straight tip, fair enough - fill yer boots.

    Sturm 2/5 to beat Macklin??

Good little price that, maybe in a double.

    I have no idea.

I mean, the guys tips are 2 from 2. I'm not gonna put a huge amount on his tip anyway as I dont know the guy. Probably put about 30 down depending on the odds.

    I have Sturm by Decision.

Rhodes to beat Alvarez 66/1 on Skybet (choose your round). Has to be worth a couple of quid in the middle rounds surely!

Fair enough - s'pose it depends a bit what sort of odds his two winners came in at. This fella I'm on about tipped my poor grandad a horse at evens, told him to put £3K on it with the promise of paying him £800 win or lose. Fortunately, it came in, although the guy then began pestering him for the profit, minus the £800. Quite a widespread scam apparently.

I remember reading something about this scam a while back. Basically you spam thousands of emails to people with tips all picking slightly different horses. Then the ones that lose you never email again but you do email those that won. And it keeps on going down and down the amount of people you do email. Who have received nothing but winners. They don't know about the other emails to different people so they assume they are winning everytime. Something like that. Its a numbers game.

the first one was at 5/1 apparently. My mate put twenty on it and collected his €120.

Not sure about the second one.

I mean if it is a scam, he's not scamming me I'm just getting the tips handed down to me without having to put any big cash on it. No harm really. I couldnt pick a winner this week to save my life, so I'll give this a pop.

    I've got......

    2.30pm Sweet Chilli
    3.05pm World Domination
    3.45pm Barefoot Lady
    4.25pm Lost in the Moment

I've got a £1 Yankee and four £1 singles.... if it all comes in I'll have £20k

It's a free bet anyway, managed to trade £15 up on today's NRL games.

Yep, that's it - only this was all done by phone. Had to ring the **** and put him straight.

:yep Yeah, that sounds about right. Company was called something like Blue Moon Bloodstock - turned out it was just some wheezy-sounding arsehole operating out of a PO Box in Glasgow. As I say, my grandad was very lucky and his horse came in - **** him up badly when he realised what he'd done, though.

Right for anyone who's interested that horse is Fast Shot, running in the 3.35 at Mussleborough. Odds are 9/4, second favourite. I'm sceptical, but worth a punt.

Some naive ****ers around here. Win or lose in the 3.35, anyone who follows these shysters need sectioning. Mugs en-masse.

For the record, the best bet of the race is that the F, 3rdF and 4thF have also been mooted to said muppets.

Tons of these doing the rounds since time immemorial, but still the get-rich-quick pondlife fall for it.

 Its always the casual punters that fall for them. A friends friend who has won an amazing 2 races next one MUST win lol. FYI never use a tipping service if they were so good they would be making money themselves instead of charging people for them. Real money makers do not tip.
