That was AWKWARD when the Vitali question was asked. Good stuff, Wlad is/was pissed off, but did anyone else get the feeling how was a bit uncomfortable at times? Especially when Wlad just stared at Haye then Wlad said he had just knocked him out. Haye started laughing imo nervously saying "yeah he does hit hard this guy". He went from shitting on him, to laughing with him then complimenting him in the space of a minute.

He was laughing nervously because watching Klitchko make a joke is like watching 'the office'.

You end up embarresed for him.

Haye is on the wind-up and there were times when Wlad was really uncomfortable and pissed off but as others have said, this was a month ago.

Makes me laugh when someone made a thread on the general.."who won the face-off" :rofl

By fightnight all this stuff won't matter, it'll come down to who's prepared the best.

As far as the face off goes, Haye's obviously just hamming it up to sell the fight, well let's hope so, otherwise he truly is a total d@@@.

I think Germans would all tut in disaprovel just as the only clap in approval of jab jab grab.

I think they should have it like a big football matches,fans at very opposite ends with secuirty inbetween them.

good get a bit saucy if Haye wanted to turn it into england v germany,even though klits are kazak /ukranian. The poster for this fight is "the war" though isnt it. atsch

Pt I - The games are almost over... for me anyway!

The world's media invaded the Hayemaker gym this week, as pre-fight hype well and truly kicked into gear ahead of my July 2nd showdown with Wladimir Klitschko in Hamburg.

It was great seeing so many familiar faces at my gym on Tuesday and the sheer amount of people present once again highlighted the sheer magnitude of this fight.

The gym was stuffed to breaking point and it was tough to breathe in there at times. The heat and amount of people made it uncomfortable enough as it was, but then some fool went and cranked the heaters up to 11! I wonder who that might've been...

Thankfully, though sweaty and tired, everybody stuck around and got a piece of what they were hoping for. The press even received my response to Wladimir Klitschko in the form of a poster for my new iPhone game, David Haye's Knockout, complete with an image of The Big Russian's severed head.

Upon seeing the poster, everybody jumped to conclusions and assumed that the opponent on the game - The Big Russian - was supposed to be Wladimir Klitschko and that I'd once again been fantasising about severing his head.

I want to now take this opportunity to distance myself from these allegations and allow everybody to make their own minds up. Ask yourselves this - am I really the sort of person that would draw up an image of my opponent minus head and then use such classless tactics to promote a product?

On a related note, it was great to hear stories of the few people who managed to beat my score on David Haye's Knockout and crack the 20-second mark. I couldn't believe it when people were decapitating The Big Russian's head in 16 and 17 seconds.

They were tremendous efforts, and those players were duly rewarded with signed Hayemaker t-shirts. If anybody out there reckons they can go one better, feel free to give it a go, and let me know how you get on.

I now have a little over a week of hard training left and I'm counting down the days until fight night in Hamburg. Sparring has gone great and, as I'm sure you will have seen and heard on Sky Sports News earlier this week, we have now finished all sparring duties.

Some people were surprised by that decision, but both Adam Booth and I are happy with where I'm at right now and no further amount of sparring is going to prepare me for what I need to do on July 2nd. I have sparred all the people I need to spar and have executed all the things that Adam wanted me to execute against them.

Now the focus will be on fine-tuning what we've worked on for months and gearing it more specifically towards Wladimir Klitschko. Rather than sussing out the moves of my sparring partners, I now have complete focus on Wladimir Klitschko. I am watching, studying and discussing him more now than at any other point and I believe I know him better than I have ever done in the past.

Sparring is finished and I am no longer just preparing for an anonymous Big Russian. My opponent is Wladimir Klitschko and, rest assured, I know his weaknesses and have his number. ..

Wlad. did get wound up and will be torn between anger and emotion to haye or trying to be cool and calm as usual.

I really do think haye is right when he told wlad that wlad cannot get sparring to be ready for him,wlad has 2-0 20 year olds ,afalobi and cunningham who isnt anything like haye!,They dont know how haye will exaclty come out,will he do a tyson/fraiser,will he move and make wlad chase him to then make wlad jab miss and get countered?,will he wait for clinches to then go to work on wlad?.

Haye will know wlad:comes out fast and angry,or clinch/leans straight away and only jabs,does the same as usual without more fear and caution.

Haye has the better sparring,he has price,helanius for big tall powerful awkard jabby boxers,he has wilder and others for speed of punching and speed of closing distance,backing away and clinching.He knows wlad under rated attributes of speed and keeping the distance,and is ready for this.

Haye really does have the speed,power,relfexes and grit to win this big.
