Do you think Rocky Marciano would be successful in today's heavyweight division?

    Today he's be a lightheavy but could go up to cruiserweight, so lets see...

    BHop would give him troubles, would never hurt him but would be to slick and most likely win a UD. Dawson probably the same, although he's chinny so The Rock could KO him late. All others The Rock would KO...

    At cruiser I think Cunningham would be the only challenge again cause of his style, but he is known to be chinny so i think The Rock would catch him late and KO him. Huck is a hypejob and Lebedev is good but not great, I see The Rock cleaning house at cruiser...

    At heavy he could compete with the contenders but most likely lose due to size difference, he would be killed by the KBros, he'd possibly be a top 10 HW...

    i know that. i changed it, it was a mistake. and tommy fought 3 at HW his last one was at cruiser.

    Nah. I think most of the old school heavies might have cut to Cruiser.

    Armstrong has pretty good defense from what I've seen but I think that with the todays careful management he could've retired undefeated :)

    doesnt really matter which one was the last, i just pointed to the fact that the rules do not restrict you to be over 200 to compete as a heavyweight.

    but i take it that you think he would get knocked out, him being small.

    fair enough.

    so the way i see it, because of the size difference, rocky wouldnt have a chance. I still think there's more to that. i dont think a man's size automatically makes him superior to a smaller guy.

    i mean size is definetly an advantage, but this 'he's too small, or bigger is better' arguement is out of control sometimes.

    so haye is more elusive than walcott who is considered one of the most slickest and hardest heavyweights to hit?

    wlacott was out cold, and knocked out in the first round in a rematch and i dont think you could make a case that haye's chin is better than walcotts.

    Marciano would beat Arreola to a pulp ,even with the weight advantage IMO.

    In a one-fight scenario, Marciano could beat a significantly larger heavyweight. But the question is, could he really campaign an entire career being outweighed 20-60 pounds with the same success? I think that's what would wear on him and prevent him from being as successful today.

    I'd see him campaigning at cruiserweight, and then doing what all really good cruiserweights do- move up and try to land a heavyweight title fight ASAP.

    do you think Rock's power would be enough to score knockouts over bigger men, or would the bigger guys take his punches a bit better?

    I watched a bunch of his fights. His will was like a Carl Froch x 5. He threw volume had a ridiculous chin and nasty angles on his punches. He would rain supreme at any time in history. He was the real deal in every way.
