I expect Golov to stop Ouma late, no matter how tough he is.

Golovkin doesn't have late stoppages I know (McClellan bug), but I just think he might this time.

****. I got distracted by FNF and wasn't able to see if Pineda made it to his feet unassisted or showed other signs of being OK. Hopefully he doesn't pay too steep a price for being on the wrong end of that mismatch.

The ring announcer sounds bored while he calls their names before the fights

Irving Berry vs. Julio Camano - 8 rounds @ super featherweight.

After this, it's just one more fight until the co-features.

    Round 1

Berry is alternately cracking Camano with stiff jabs and hard lead rights as he dances around him and keeps him off-balance. Camano is stumbling forward from a mixture of unsteadiness trying to keep squared up as well as getting hit flush so much. Camano tries to flop forward and lean on Berry but can't hold him still. Horrible underhand misses by Camano. Berry is landing hard looping rights in the exchanges, holding Camano at bay.

    10-9 Berry

He's got a shot, especially with how crazy this year has been, but I like Golovkin by KO.

And I got Berry up 10-9

    I'll say yeah.

If Ouma shows, he will. That guy can still be hell for anyone on his best nights.

    Round 2

Camano hops around and pushes out a lead right. Berry rattles his bushy hair with some crisp counters. Hard body shots by Berry. Nice slick defensive move by Berry, leaning back to slip a can-opener. Just a huge gulf in class here. Camano sells out and starts to thrash away on Berry, trying to hold him and hit him but unable to really do either. Wild misses by Camano. Berry continues to work well in spurts as Camano now tries to neutralize him by flopping in to clinch.

    20-18 Irving Berry

I reckon Ouma will take him the distance. Maybe a late stoppage but a wide Golovkin decision is the likeliest. If GG got him out of there inside six, that would be pretty damn impressive.
