For conventional jab Wlad has to take the edge over Khan or Erdei or whoever, for unconvenional, Sergio Martinez who outjabbed elite jabber Dzinziruk very impressively.
Sergio Martinez, I think all his success stems from the jab. Agree Holmes had the best jab in history.
Has to be Kelly Pavlik. If he doubled that thing up he'd be killing people in the ring. Liston had the best heavyweight jab ever.
I think Wladimir has a pretty poor jab to be honest. He holds it out too long and too often for me which makes him overbalance to the counter and to fighters with some head movement. I think the real reason his jab is vaunted so much is just because of how utterly brilliant his straight right is. It's like a laser and the jab, while not technically good in my opinion, is there to supplement the accuracy of his right hand. EDIT: That's not completely fair I think, it seems to be a major part of his ring cutting off ability. Dare I say Wladimir has the best straight right in boxing today?
I think Khan in terms of speed and accuracy no ? his jab is at least up there with floyds now ? so far anyway lets see what happens against judah.
