    Messy stuff. RLT is shuffling around and waving his left, elbow crooked. Broadbent is flailing at him with sidewinding flurries every time RLT jabs, and making him a bit gunshy. Broadbent turns sideways and approaches in hopscotch fashion with his arms hung all the way down by his sides throwing wild lead rights. RLT is slipping well on the outside and trying to work a double jab and left hook off the jab as Broadbent comes Tokyo Drifting in.

    Broadbent is firmly establishing himself in the puncher's role, charging in with powerful right hands that have his upper back rippling with force. Broadbent is putting his all into every right he chucks. RLT is catching him and tying him up throughout the opening minute and finally gets warned for holding. Wild leaping lead uppercut from Broadbent. Huge exchange and both men land loud clapping headshots, eliciting roars from the partisan crowd although RLT took as hard as he gave. Another clinch - aaaaaaaand, the promoter's feed cuts out. :(

    Unless something dramatic happened, the first 2/3 of that round indicated that Broadbent was taking it pretty clearly.

    OK, here we go. RLT is whipping hard hooks, slicing up from his sides at diagonal angles and really cracking Broadbent hard. Broadbent is in some trouble!! The Londoners scream. RLT is on the offensive, tucking behind a high guard and just pushing Broadbent back in between volleys of hard cricket-style hooks.

    10-9 RLT from what we saw.
