At first I suppose, then what ever yank grabs a title will likely milk it for all it's worth and never look to unify. Personally I have been quite happy with the fights we've had recently that were not title fights as well as the ones coming up.

Ie Peter vs Helenius, Arreolla vs Adamek, Helenius vs Lyakovich, Thompson vs Chambers. If your idea had of happened last year probably all of these fights would have been title fights more than likely.

    No.

Haye has stated he wants to retire in October I believe.

It has been long decided by Haye that he is retiring before his 31st Birthday.

    EDIT!!!

I just realised I misread the ****ing thread title and said something completely irrelevant.

    I am tired. My apologizes!

thats why wlad needs to win, we need dominance in the division not bums trading belts, since haye is going to retire this year im siding with wladimir to win so that we can continue to have a dominant champion in the heavyweight division, its better for boxing and wlads legacy while hayes will remain as a solid cruiser champion and a hypejob at heavy, its the best outcome.

True, its better to have a dominant champ that contenders all aspire to beat

actually this is why I think Haye is full of ****. He talks about how a win over Wlad/Vitali would restore the division. But let's say he beats Wlad in July. I don't think he will, but say he does. Then Vitali cancels his fight with Adamek and fights Haye before October, and then Haye wins THAT as well.

Okay he wins all the belts, and then retires. So the belts are vacant, and then the Klitschkos will be #1 contenders I would imagine. They'd fight someone for the belts, and get them back.

People act like if Haye wins, the Klitschkos will never fight again. Wlad and Vitali will get the titles back after they steamroll anyone else they face, in the unlikely situation that Haye beats Wlad

maybe he can knock wlad out so brutally that he will never fight again?,maybe he defeats vitali and stops him/vitali gets injured in the process and at his age decided never to box again?.

Ide hope their would be a super six for heavyweight, there are some in shape athletes out there in the division.

It would be nice to see other PPL fight for the belts. Wald is one boring dude, good but seriously boring! Haye his gonna KO Wald nasty style, I just hope he doesnt retire. he would be on top of the boxing world if he wins. thats like Mayweather saying he was gonna retire after DLH, that was a damn lie

Barring the titles being packaged together during a 1 vs 2 match, it will most likely look like this for title matches.

IBF: Wlad vs Chambers II or Thompson II(both have won an IBF title eliminator)
WBO: Adamek(WBO NABO) vs Helenius(WBO Intercontinental)
WBA: Holyfield vs Ustinov(or just shove SNV, Chagaev, or Ruiz on here for the old time, WBA circle jerk of shame)
    IBO: Arreola vs Potvetkin
Ring: Vacant until either a Klitschko vs Klitschko match or someone unifies 3 belts.

If Haye won and then retired the HW division would be an even bigger farce then it is now.

Regardless of the outcome in July, Haye will NOT retire with this kind of money and ego caressing going on.

    Bet on it.

I remember reading somewhere that David Haye stated he would not retire if he won against Wlad.
