    Rhodes is playing with fire, trying to defend with head movement and turns of his shoulder to slip shots as Alvarez rips one combo after another at him. Rhodes is just slithering right outside the pocket, turning and shimmying while Alvarez takes aim and tees off.

    Is this open scoring? :huh It sounded like they just announced the cards over the loudspeaker.

    BIG right hand from Alvarez. Now a 1-2 through the guard. Rhodes knocked back by another while in a hedgehog stance, guard up and back curled. Alvarez tosses a left hook to the body. Right to the belly, and a left hook slaps to the back as Rhodes turns away.

    Alvarez is a hype job, I have no doubt now that Cotto can beat him.

    again alvarez won the round on clean punching, activity, and generaliship. Rhodes did absolutely nothing.
