Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum Discussion Thread

The only people I want to see fight Overweem are JDS or Cain. Werdum is interesting but not nearly on the level that those matches would be.

 

I guess we will see in his next fight!

I don't know how well he will go against Sergei. But to be honest I am a Barnett fanboy. So probably my bias. Just excited to see him get some exposure.

 

Remember what dos santos did to werdum? overeem is a better striker and stronger. Overeem by TKO

 

Again, even there it means almost nothing. Sergei is a good fighter, sure, but a top heavyweight? No, not even close. Barnett probably gets to the finals after beating the clearly handicapped bracket and gets wrecked by Overeem/Bigfoot and submitted by Werdum and probably loses to Fedor.

 

Werdum should be disqualified he doesn't want to fight. What a disgrace.

 

This is why it suck fighting a grappler only. Overeem better do something in round 2 and 3 cuz he lost the 1st round.

Werdum gonna be dazed and fatigued after 1 to 2 rounds of being thrown/falling/pulling guard and getting back up over and over again.
