Is Haye's trash talking so bad, it's actually good?

Its cringe worthy. What is interesting though is iv NEVER seen Vlad this riled about any fighter. He's exceptionally professional at all times. But the look he gave Haye was that of a man that of a stone cold killer.
Kind of reminds me when Hasim Rahman tried to get under LL's skin. We all know what happens when LL got angry. Turned out Rahman did not.

Personally i think Haye is biting of way more than he can chew. He's desperate to sell the fight and line his pockets. But im fast loosing interest in Haye. As a professional and a role model his been a failure. Its abundantly clear he doesn't give a **** about the fans and only himself.
There's way's to sell a fight. This isn't one of them.

Most intelligent thread that I have seen on the topic of Haye's behaviour in a long time.

Klitch has outclassed Haye in every interview and face off i have seen

He comes accross as more assured, more intelligent, a true champion

Haye comes accross as contrived and desperate

I think both guys come across quite painful. The Face Off, while very funny, was pretty pitiful. Neither man has covered themselves in glory. Also, considering Wlad accused Haye of faking his back injury (and even if he did, the Setanta collapse was a good reason to back out - would you want to face a Klitschko for free!?), he seems to have forgotten his mysterious injury that scuppered the Chisora fight.

I don't remember seeing the doctor's note about that...

    i think Haye is a big ego,racist ****...
he definitely got something against EE.he kept talking all the time :EE this EE that... "they are robotic","i beat every EE i met"
he gave a bad name to Britain and he is probably most hated heavyweight champion ever, through his arrogant ,big mouth, disrespectful behavior.
i actually feel sorry for Wlad that he have to deal with this ****,and to listen all those insults Haye throw at him in his presents.Wlad is a class character and is sometimes obvious that he is lost for words when dealing with those slurs.
i dont know what is good for him by talking **** this way,i know it may turn up very embarrassing for him and British people if he gets knock out in the first round.
Haye is a world face of British people he represents, therefore he could be a bit more humble and class..but that's my opinion

yea maybe i used wrong word "racist"but he dislike EE thats for sure or at least don't pay any respect.
i wish brits well as spent long time living in the uk,but i dont wish Haye well in this bout. something in me want him to get punish in this fight,i want Wlad to give him a lesson,as many people in EE are really feel offended by those slurs and this is not giving British people friends nor a good name.

He's not racist, just a bigot. It's classic little Island ape behavior from Haye really, where he has the view that all that are not from the Anglosphere are below him. It's common amongst a lot of small minded English types that yearn for the days of the barbaric empire now that they are merely an insufficient little island, they're no more than a mini America to be honest and I think that really grinds their gears so they like to attack Africa, cultured Europe, Asia and south America at every chance as if a little stocky bully who puffs out his chest to feel better about themselves

Sorry, could I just ask you to rethink that?

Firstly, how can anyone describe anyone who was the undisputed Cruiserweight champion, stepped up won a version of the heavyweight title, whilst doing it on his terms, promoting himself and making a fortune while doing it as a 'professional failure'. What would would you describe as professional success then chief?

As for being a role model, it depends on how you define it. If to be a role model you can't swear, you have to be respectful to every opponent in every interview even if that means lying and talk about how blessed you are by Jesus etc (which it appears you have to in the United Screwballs of America) then fair play he is definitely not.

However, I would suggest that if you asked most of the young kids in South London who probably see what he's done, avoided trouble, made the most of his talent and done it his way, I would say they would view him as a positive role model.

    Just saying

what young peoples Haye behavior can impress:gangs, thugs
how insulting opponents be regarded as "positive role model"?
maybe that's why london have gangs, knife culture, gun culture problems in London because of those"positive role models"

I don't need to rethink anything. As iv already explained Haye lacks the professional conduct you would expect from a sportsman who has reached the pinnacle of his sport. When you compare his behaviour with that of Vlad it's very clear he lacks professionalism. This has been evidenced additionally but his lackadaisical attitude toward training.
For whatever reason you have construed that professionalism and success are intertwined. Whilst they are obviously related they're clearly not absolute.

Really? I would have thought Haye would have had the perfect discipline with his training and diet.
