Personally I prefer him to most of the others on sky. He knows his stuff and he comes across like a real fan as well knowing the ins and outs of each division. Is he a permanent fixture now or was last night just a one off?
I liked that segment they did on ringside too with him going to gallaghers, sky's been great lately for boxing. Some of the fights have been a bit of an anti climax but the coverage its getting is great, just glad to see them really making an effort with it.
That said jim watts a twat and it's not natural for any man to wear trousers as tight as jonny nelsons.
Did you know he favoured Audley over Haye He's ok but my personal preference is Woodhall or Barry who both say what they think and don't side too much with sky and their intrests.
He wasn't the only one who fell into the hype train I'm sure, poor prediction still. I still think he's better than some of the others and that's a good call on woodhall especially.
I think he's spot on, though he did let himself down by toeing the company line with the ''this is a 50-50 fight......'' statement. He's a better pundit than Nelson that's for sure. There is actually quite a bit of quality to choose from, with Moore, Spencer Oliver, Richie Woodhall and Barry McGuigan. Macklin, Barker and Froch are all good too, as is Ryan Rhodes. I'm pleased that there seems to be more and more variety amongst the punditry rather than Piper, Nelson and McCrory every week. It's definitely a good idea to have a potential opponent of one of the headliners in the studio, not necessarily to create any scuffles or anything, but someone who can critique the performance and offer their thoughts. The ''what Sky should do to improve'' thread certainly seems to have come up trumps.
i think he is great everytime he is on. should be a regular Him and Mathew Hatton were really good together,
Kell was **** poor on the prize fighter one. Spencer Oliver is another one I like because he's quite articulate.
