In spite of a few of these prospects getting a loss there's still so many great fights to be made in this division.

Belt Holders: Martinez, Pirog, Golovkin, N'Dam N'Jikam, Sturm, Geale, Chavez

Khurtsidze, Macklin, Zbik, Jacobs, Lee, Lemieux, Guerrero, Proksa, Kirkland, Mcewan, Barker, Korobov, Bursak, Chudinov's (who i forget?)

Khurtsidze is a little 5'4 pressure fighter with a strong punch and Tyson type upperbody movement. After this past year with his controversial loss to N'jikam i think he's among the best MW's without a belt. Thought he deserved a mention as he's largely unknown still.

Here's his most recent fight getting the KO 1 vs Donisio Miranda (who had a FOTY vs Karmazin on FNF)

I want to see Lemieux-Kirkland and Lee-Jacobs happen. What matchups do you guys want to see.

So which out of that do you see as a meaningful fight? The only meaningful fighter is Martinez and short of Pacquiao, Mayweather or maybe Cotto coming up to fight him, it isn't gonna do millions on PPV

Khurtsidze does have an exciting style to go along with his freakish height.

I would add Rubio, Manfredo, Adama, Sylvester and maybe Sam Soliman has another run left in him? Some guys I'm not sure about are Julien Marie Sainte & Grzegorz Proska. Also, are Khoren Gevor and Renan St Juste completely done at MW?

He said good potential fights. Not marketable fights.

There aren't many, if any, huge money fights to be made at 160 but who cares? There's a huge amount of young talent and evenly-matched fighters that could give us competitive, entertaining fights for years to come.

I'd like to see Korobov step up his competition level to see what he's made of - I was expecting him to be moved quicker.

Not a lot of BIG fights but a lot of GOOD fights for sure.

Golovkin and Pirog are both studs and I think Lemieux will bounce back nicely as well.

Damn, Khurtsidze's upper body movement did remind me a lot of Tyson. Agreed that there are tons of good prospects coming up too, if only they could get the name recognition.

If Macklin beats Sturm. A Macklin v Lee fight will probably happen which would be a very entertaining fight and awesome for Irish boxing.

Golovkin v Pirog would be a brilliant fight with an interesting mesh of styles with someone likely getting knocked the **** out.

Lemieux will probably take a step back given his last outing so I don't think he'll be ready to mix it with the other guys for a while.

Korobov's career is going nowhere fast. He's going on 29 and still fighting 8 rounders against cans. Terribly disappointing.

There's a realistic chance we see N'Jikam v Golovkin soon. This is a cracking fight.

Chavez Jr won't be fighting anyone great any time soon.

Proksa is most likely fighting with Sylvester for Ebu after Barker vacates it. This will tell us if he's able to compete.
