Suzy your overrating Liston like mad, you ever seen Sharkey or know anything about him? Your just riding Listons nob.

 

I'm not really convinced Sharkey is the better pure boxer/technician I think Liston is the better of the 2 in that respect but if he Sharkey there isn't much in it. Liston was so much stronger, so much the better puncher, so much bigger, it's almost unfair. Sharkey wasn't that hard to hit either and knocked out by Louis, Dempsey and Carnera. That really doesn't bode well for him

Not that any of that matters because Sharkey would have lost this mentally before the first bell rang imo Liston instilled fear into pretty much everyone he fought including ALi, I don't think Sharkey would mentally be strong enough for such an uphill battle

 

I have never been very impressed with Jack technically, he wasn't a good enough boxer to beat Sonny without hurting him and I can't see him doing that. He had a decent right hand but I'd rate it below Cleaveland Williams.
