The top ten atg! He won 2000 consecutive sparring sessions but because of bias they don't count on his record!

It's a h2h list ! and where did I put him all in all ? not even top 20 ! how many men in history do you think could beat the 6'5.5" Akiwande ? more than 40 ? do you really think Michael Spinks , Jimmy Ellis or Floyd Patterson could beat him ? he KOd a young but prime and yet unstopped Jeremy Williams . Williams was talented but as you see size matters . Not just that but he decisioned Tony Tucker , decisioned and floored Cisse Salif who was also himself quite a big and durable fighter , decision wins over Timo Hoffman and Orlin Norris also don't hurt much.
And while his list of opponents may not be one of the top 20s , he did prove something in his career. The idea is just that he was a dangerous and worthy opponent whom I am quite certain that was avoided by the vast majority of the more hyped names you think highly of . He also floored Lennox Lewis.

I don't think McCall is much of a threat for the Klitschkos in the last 5 years or so , maybe even 10. The man is 46 !
I think he should retire because probably there are not many more big victories waiting for him .
A win over Wlad will just reprove the already proven about McCall that he is one of the best giant slayers in history .
But it won't happen as Wlad is 11 years younger than the drug abused , fight weary 46 years old McCall whom surely had seen better days.
I think McCall can be regarded as a top 30 HW among the active fighters but only due to the current (for a while) weakness of the division. McCall is done not only by his age and accumulated ring experience but mainly by drugs too . It just shows you how far he could get without them . And he reached quite far with them.
If you're really looking for men with a chance to upset Wlad then I think that currently Michael Grant and Dominick Guinn have a better chance . Or a motivated rejuvenated well trained (for a change) Valuev if it's possible.
I don't think anyone of these guys should be considered a favorite over either Klitschko , but I think of what is available , they have the best chance to at least last the distance. And just relative to others.
With all that said , I don't have a big problem with the way boxrec sorted the active heavyweights.

Well even at his advanced , drug abused age, McCall has shown that he can keep pace with todays youngsters. None of them have hurt him. IN fact when past prime, McCall faced maybe the biggest puncher ever, with no guard whatsoever and still couldnt be knocked down. It took an overzealous referee to stop the fight, something which wouldnt have happened in the old days. McCall also knocked down and got the better of Tyson from reports in exhibitions and sparrings as i am sure i dont have to tell you.

McCall might not be what he used to be, but he presents a solid chin and a huge punch, even at this advanced age. And he hasnt slowed as much as say Foreman had, when foreman beat Moorer. McCall has the ability to slow down Wlad, set a trap and lower the boom at the right time. Something not too many, if any others are able to do as well today.

    Who do you mean ?
Cedric Boswell is no youngster and McCall also didn;t keep the pace with Timur Ibragimov.
Oquendo's no youngster either , but maybe he is compared to McCall.

You mean Lewis ? I doubt if he's the biggest puncher ever , and I don't have anything against the ref's decision in that fight , McCall should not have been allowed to fight if he was examined prior to it , but Don King would have probably managed a way to oil McCall's way into it anyway.

Really ? TGA once claimed that he once retired against Tyson due to body punches in sparring .
He did get the better of him knockdownwise though.
McCall is slowed down because of the reasons I already stated and in his "losses" he was usually outsped . He also lacks Foreman's size although he is probably at least close to Foreman's punch and surpasses him in durability but I wouldn't wish to see him against a Klitschko at his current age/state , not until he gets rejuvenated !
And we still haven't got to that point of time , have we ?

I'm sorry but any ranking system that allows you to place maccall over greb p4p, as well as allowing jameel mccline and sultan ibragimov in the top 20 all time heavyweights, is completely bizarre.

Essentially your list is who you think has the best chance of beating people meaning it is entirely subjective.

ALL lists are incomplete and INACCURATE, (especially some of these ones)
and especially rankings, it's IMPOSSIBLE to accurately rank 10 men in any division and even less accurate the more you go, top 100 and so on.

Boxing IS LITTERED with GREAT fighters,
there are hundreds of them, sure a Joe Louis or SRR or Mike Tyson who stand apart come along from time to time, but the Greats who aren't quite super human are only just below them!

I've always said Top Men are TOP MEN and they can compete and beat one another in multiple contests because they are all equally GREAT, and there are hundreds of them in Boxing History!!!

Valuev the second best heavyweight history despite being soundly outboxed by ruiz, chag, holyfield and haye
